The new papers for next weeks Programmes and Investment Cttee include two on LU rolling stock

1. An update on the Deep Tube Upgrade (was NTfL) programme - content.tfl.gov.uk/07-deep-tube.pdf

2. An update on other Rolling Stock update / upgrade programmes - content.tfl.gov.uk/06-lu-rolling-stock.pdf

The latter paper has a lot of info on what is happening to existing stocks plus supporting facilities like Acton Works. rail adhesion trains and battery locos.

I hope the new tube stock is similar to that on the Victoria line, spacious and very VERY fast.
