Sounds interesting, wern't Stagecoach cutting the continetal services though? Always odd seeing coaches with british plates on the mainland, and vice versa when flixbus come to visit.

Sounds interesting, wern't Stagecoach cutting the continetal services though? Always odd seeing coaches with british plates on the mainland, and vice versa when flixbus come to visit. Stagecoach sold off their continental work as there was simply too much competition for them to handle and to make a return on their services. Based on what's been said elsewhere these "new" Megabus routes are copies of services that a SW based coach business ran on contract for National Express. They lost that work so they've gone into partnership with Megabus to keep their work volume and to introduce some competition. NX have long charged higher fares on their direct airport services as there was no effective competition. It will be very interesting to see how things go and whether NX retaliate and if the new Megabus services actually last.

Seems megabus are offering London-Luton Airport ... piggy backing of Green Line 757 ... wonder if some coaches will get repainted?
