Hallmark will be using B7's on the 461/555 commercially...currently on Blackpool- Preston Rail replacement duties. These buses were on uni work that was lost to First. (they have 17 of them sitting about apparently)

(they have 17 of them sitting about apparently) Is the 555 going to be commercial? I thought it was still a Surrey CC contract. Brave move by Hallmark if it is commercial, although there will presumably be some funding from Heathrow if airport travelcards are to be accepted. Are we talking double-deck B7s here? That'll be something to look forward to

It looks like there is going to be a bus war on the 461: I quote from the SCC page '461 (Abellio) – this service will continue to be operated by Abellio and will run every 30 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays between Kingston and Addlestone. In addition, a second operator has advised the Council that it intends to run a service every 30 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays between Kingston and St Peters Hospital, every 60 minutes after 7pm and every 60 minutes on Sundays between Kingston and Chertsey. The services of these two operators are not controlled by the Council and this information is given in good faith for completeness. No further detail is yet available.' Bring it on The new LSP has applications for Abellio with max 8.8m buses and Hallmark with max 12m buses Links to Proposed timetables on the consultations pages consultations.tfl.gov.uk/lsp/829c565a/consultations.tfl.gov.uk/lsp/06f6e0d4/So Surrey bus wars will be between London (Abellio, Camberwell) and Brummies (Rotala, Oldbury) There are also LSP consultations for other changes, e.g. hallmark on 555 (with max 12m buses) As interesting as all this sounds I expect it will only last 6 months before one of the firms quit. Abellio are the aggressors here, timing their buses 5 mins ahead of Hallmarks leaving Kingston. So effectively still a half hour service , only 2 buses will come along . This sort of nonsense should have been made illegal long ago. It does nothing for the image of bus travel.

With those timetables the two won't be able to share the stand at Cromwell Road, so something will have to give. TfL could refuse one of the applications - how they decide between the two, I don't know - or they could require one or both of them to alter their timetable to avoid clashes at Cromwell Road. I see that Hallmark have been awarded the SCC contract for evening & Sunday journeys on the 461.

At this stage it's not clear of TfL will allocate stands and stops to both in Cromwell Road bus station, there are already times when stops A11, A12, A13 might not be available for the second operator.

I mentioned this further up in the thread. This page on the Surrey CC website details the September contract changes. The 446 is indeed going to White Bus Services. As far as I can make out, Stagecoach have only actually won 2 buses worth of work (in addition to retaining the 715).

I see that Abellio's 461 timetable for September has been amended so that buses will now leave Kingston 10 minutes in front of the Hallmark 461s. Not quite as good as a regular 15-minute headway, but better than their original idea to run buses 5 minutes in front of the competition. So no clashes at Cromwell Road, providing everything runs on time of course.
Not sure why Surrey CC have produced two separate timetables for the two 461s - it would surely have been more helpful to present both services on one panel.

LOTs TLB has summarised the approx fleet gains
Falcon +5 buses Hallmark +12 London United +1 Reptons +2 Stagecoach South +2 White bus +4
Don't yet know the bus types, although I think someone (sorry forgot who) suggested Hallmark have B7RLE Wright Eclipse spare in Preston ?
Falcon coaches have article on their website which says they will be euroV enviro 200s with a picture of KX58GVF repainted outside Dawson rentals building (a quick search suggests this started at Aberdeen airport) suprised a 58reg is euroV
Anyone know any of the others ?
