Not sure if it's been noted but Surrey route 442 will have a new early morning service to offer a shift worker friendly service between Staines and Heathrow. This replaces 441 which as previously noted has been withdrawn between Staines and Heathrow.

Is the 557 being extended back to T5, as someone mentioned a few pages ago? As I haven't seen anything on the SCC webpage.
Must say, having driven through Sunbury recently, it did look odd seeing a First Berkshire branded vehicle roaming the streets of Surrey! Fair play to First though for taking the 555 on.

No - there was a mention early on of the 557 being extended to Heathrow Central, but that was part of the early leak which turned out to contain a number of errors. I think someone confused 555 and 557, as the 555 is being diverted to Heathrow Central instead of T5. The new timetable for the 557 is up on the Surrey CC website and shows that it will only run between Sunbury and Addlestone. You don't have much longer to enjoy First Berkshire vehicles on the 555 - Hallmark will be taking over on Saturday.

I for one am looking forward to their 461 service going out to "Chertsy"! Watch this space. Interesting to note that they are trying an "oyster match" a la Abellio, on the 458 between Kingston and Esher - trying to tap into the popular K3 segment, though via different routings.

Shame they don't know what the Oyster bus fare is. Clue = it isn't £1.60.

Ah but they're not affected by the Mayor's fares freeze - they're matching what the Oyster fare would have been without the freeze Mind you, I'd happily pay the extra 10p given you get to ride on a proper bus instead of an E200, and on a much more direct route - the K3 takes almost twice as long.

All of the operators on the Kingston-Esher corridor (Stagecoach, Cardinal and Hallmark) have oyster match fares. Reptons will probably offer the same once they take over the 513. Anyways it will be good to see the single deck Wright Eclipse body in Kingston. The competition between Abellio and Hallmark will make spotting even more interesting.

BX62FBF is out on 555 and is a fine example of when LED blinds don't work. You can barely read the destination.

A bit more variety for liveries in Kingston
Hallmark Wright Eclipse are basically in colours of Rotala Wessex (think they used to work near Bath), different to existing Hallmark colours Stagecoach have used some colourful buses with Kite pictures and word Kite on them. (These are from Aldershot-Guildford route),
Tomorrow Reptons start on mon-fri 513 (haven't seen a bus yet, but coaches are normally light blue)
Add in the existing Abellio Surrey, Falcon bus, normal stagecoach, Kingston University, and of course boring TfL red At least 8 colours might be most in any town in London area for many years

From what I've read online, it seems like 555 didn't begin life in the greatest of fashion under Hallmark. Services not turning up and drivers struggling with routes and fares. I hope it's just first weekend teething problems (which would be understandable).

This is the worry I have that with the break up of Abellio's network that you end up with a 'Harlow' situation bar aside First's & Stagecoach's sole route each. Abellio's network largely was easy to navigate and generally reliable and easy to use personally but I know very few will share that opinion.
