Trident has already confirmed that the cut will take place on the 1st of December, It's been said before Mr Munster is a busy individual and doesn't spend 24/7 sat at his desk updating his website Everything else on his site seems up to date, but no clearly the change shouldn't go ahead until Crossrail opens. As has been mentioned before, he only updates London United stuff pretty quickly due to his links with the operator - everything else tends to be done whenever he sees fit or receives confirmation that he is satisfied with.

I note with interest that the latest TLB is reporting that new route 304, and possibly other changes, will not go ahead in December this year. They will wait until Crossrail itself opens. I wonder if Go Ahead will takeover the 104 in December or will they arrange with Stagecoach for Stagecoach to keep on operating it until Crossrail opens?

The 104 should be going to Go Ahead as planned, but without the 304 and the 104 keep its current routing in the meantime. With 104 possibly running from RR instead of SI.

I notice the c london consultation dosent even ask if you oppose or agree just simply will your journey be affected and by how much without giving an option for each route just each group like 67, 149, 242. For this reason and because of how TfL ignore tge results (as per the 25 consultation and many others), I’m not wasting my time filling it out. They have made their choice. People are better off writing directly to their MP’s, councils and London Assembly representative of they will suffer as a result of these cuts. Personally, I think you need to do both. If you don't complete the consultation, TfL can turn round and say 'we consulted and no-one flagged a problem'. Use every avenue available. I agree that certain 'stakeholders' carry a lot more weight in the process than others. One MPs intervention will make more difference than 100 consultation responses. Be wary of petitions, they're a waste of time and if anything carry less weight. Look at this text from the 271 response:
"We received a petition submitted in two parts on 22 March 2016 and 10 May 2016 from Sally Nichol and David Causer of North Street. In total the petitions contained 1,829 signatures objecting to the proposals. The number of signatures on the petition has not been included in our total of responses received. This petition has been included in the analysis of the consultation and the issues raised in it will have been answered in the accompanying ‘Response to issues raised’ document. We only include the number of completed questionnaires received in our final analysed figures."

Results / Proposals updated 27 Nov consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/elizabeth-line/We will proceed with the changes as consulted on for routes 25, 300, 330 and 474. (The night service on route 25 would be retained between Ilford and Oxford Circus, renumbered as route N25). With regard to other routes consulted on, we will be making the following changes: •Route 104 – as consulted on, the route will be split into two overlapping routes numbered 104 and 304. However, route 304 will operate at a frequency of every 12 minutes, rather than every 10 minutes. •Route 241 – will be withdrawn from Hermit Road as consulted on and will terminate at Custom House station. However, the extension from Stratford City to Here East will not be introduced. •Route 115 – the proposed changes will not go ahead. •Route 497 – it is currently expected to introduce the new service when the second stage of the Elizabeth line opens and when the Kings Park development is further progressed. Further consideration will be given to the frequency of the service and an announcement made nearer the time.

104 changes operator on 8th December (from Stagecoach to Go-Ahead Docklands Buses) but the rerouting to Beckton and the introduction of route 304 have been deferred, presumably until Crossrail's Abbey Wood service begins. Similarly, the changes to route 241, 300, 330 and 474 have all been deferred. 174 is already double-deck. Did you mean another route?

So I've just been in a cab travelling via Silvertown Way, and I've spotted a bus stand on the eastern carriageway just past the Thames Barrier bus stop.... Hope the 330/474 changes are delayed for as long as possible! Seeing the new stand in the flesh just gives me shivers really as the 330 extension will dump people in the middle of nowhere. Still without doubt one of the worst Crossrail changes proposed.

Custom House is useless enough as a terminus but turfing people off buses at Custom House with only the DLR is ludicrous.

The 330 will terminate in Silvertown not Custom House but I agree its a rubbish location when you have City Airport / North Woolwich near by which would make more sense.
Custom House is not a bad location for terminating buses even more so once you have the 300/474 in addition to the 147,241 and 325 + the DLR linking to Canning Town and Price regent Bus station a short distance away.

Now we are a few months on from the change has the 25 seem a drop in passengers? And how has the 8 coped along the lost section?

Now we are a few months on from the change has the 25 seem a drop in passengers? And how has the 8 coped along the lost section? From my casual weekend observations for the 25 is not needed passed Aldgate on the weekend, it serves no purpose and carries minimal passengers to City Thameslink! Every time I have tried changing there a 8 has just departed so have a wait....

Well I went on the ‘revised’ 25 for the first time a couple of weeks ago-ish, all the way from Stratford to St. Paul’s on a Wednesday about 10:30am. The bus was very busy from Stratford (at least one person on every row of seats per side) and there was still about 15-20 people left up until St. Paul’s where most including myself got off. So I’d say the section isn’t dead, but nothing a single decker couldn’t handle. I would imagine (but can’t say for sure) evening peak loadings towards Ilford would still be quite heavy from commuters getting on at Bank. It’s SUCH a travesty that it will never be restored to the former glory this once almighty monster of a route the 25 used to be, the total manic-ness actually gave the route a real charm imo.
