I have a lot of favourites. But if I had to choose one, it would have to be the Mercedes Benz Citaro.

I have a lot of favourites. But if I had to choose one, it would have to be the Mercedes Benz Citaro. Easy - the L class ECW Leyland Olympian, the M class Mk1 MCW Metrobus & the T class Leyland Titan are all my joint favourite - the Volvo Olympian on multiple bodies just misses out by a smidge but is still a beast of a bus.

Favourite DD bus make is DAF DB250 (DLA156) which was at Tottenham before her demise, single deck would be VDL SB200 (sadly not in London)... Classics would be Bristol VR for its straight cut gearbox whine, and favourite model is Jourdan Dunn

Of all time? The Mercedes Citaro 0530, along with the Setra 415NF, such lovely buses that ride well.

MCW Metrorider, also have a very close soft spot for the Leyland Titan. I remember Metroriders on route 241 in the early 90s with those 3 track number blinds

Another Fav of mine, The Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer, both the MkI and MkII models. Since I was born in 1999 I don't really know much about the older buses such as Metrobuses and Leylands, but oh well 😊

MCW Metrorider, also have a very close soft spot for the Leyland Titan. Do you still have your former London Forest MR?

Far too many for me to choose so I am just going to go with the Euro 5 Volvo B7RLE.

Overall/single-deck - Mercedes-Benz Citaro. But don't hold me for which generation - I'd need to catch the old ones to verify if they're as good as people say. Oh, and Citaros are kinda a category of their own EDIT: Non-Citaro single-deck: Marshall Capital Dart SLF on Allison AT545, nuff said DD Diesel - Optare Olympus. DD Hybrid - yes, MCV EvoSeti. One with proper seats though please. DD Retro - Volvo Olympian of course Human - Bridget Satterlee

Dennis Trident, Euro3, 3-speed, preferably an original 54/75 one if I have to be really precise. Quite a soft spot for Euro4 Voith E400s as well, relatively rare in London but make a nice variety of sounds. As for single deckers, I quite like a Scania 4-series either with a musical ZF or when they're being floored. Scanias being floored sound good.
