A consultation on transparency on data held by TfL has launched. Consultation page linkI don't think there is much to say here. I do think this is in a bid to reduce the amount of FOIs the organisation has to spend extensive time on, now much of the data list can have a link [www.tfl.gov.uk/transparency] sent through to the requestor.

Ah yes the good old topic of Transparency. Ironic really that last night I read a comprehensive and detailed report on the progress and costs of a major underground line under construction in Hong Kong. It spelt out in decent detail where things had gone wrong, what was being done to fix it, the likelihood of cost claims and a load of other stuff. Not a cat in hell's chance of reading anything similar for a project in London. All we get is glossy headlines. Shocking that you can get more detail in a part of the world which is under effective Communist Party control without full democratic voting for its citizens compared to London.
