I can't say that I am particularly surprised. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it opens in 2021.

Nine Elms station building appears to be taking shape. (Couldn't get a picture as I was passing on a train)

London Reconnections article on delays due to Crossrail delaysKnock on effect of Elizabeth line delay, may delay opening Battersea extension, also affects Bank station closure to bring new Northern Line platform diversion into use. Has delayed the alteration to Liverpool Streets platforms 16-18 and affects Central Line improvement project as not so easy to take trains out of service whilst Elizabeth Line is not yet open.

A glimpse of a driver's view of the Battersea branch intersection within the Kennington loop, although you have to twist your head a bit to see it youtu.be/xBiJ2wMs4CA

Nine Elms tube station, still under construction, now has the large London Underground logo on its front building window. I'm not usually one to pull out my camera but on this occasion I couldn't get the phone out in time to take a photo of it whilst on the 77.

I suppose e bus stops outside (Wilcox Road) would be renamed upon opening?

With future consideration at least on the line going to Clapham Junction i think Battersea Latchmere would've made an ideal additional stop.
