This coming week sees the show at NEC Birmingham (alternates every 2 years with the expo) Creating a thread for any comments, news articles, photo links etc. So all in one place Link to floor plan, no ADL or Wrightbus as this show tends to be more coaches than new buses, but there is also an outdoor area www.coachandbusuk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Coach-Bus-UK-Floor-Plan-2017.pdfRumours include an electric double deck, new London sightseeing open top bus order, a Volvo electric bus (would be my personal preferred choice for route H37, but that will probably stay a dream), and something heritage.

I remember buses in Paris having this layout - looks cool. I guess in London it would be adapted to 'Bruvs and Fam' and the youth will occupy it during late bus journeys on the W4

Ideal for late night burger, milk shake and secret spliff parties. Is there any history or evidence people want to sit on seats like this with lower seat backs / less defined cushions? They really don't comfortable - just as similar seats on Reading Buses' double deckers look equally unattractive. Put side by side with the conventional seats, as in the photo, I know what I'd rather be sitting.

Note the laminate flooring to help deal with the inevitable vomit from the tramp who makes it his sleeper service if out on the night bus I feel sorry for the Bus Cleaning staff if this Goes Ahead *gets coat* While Sadiq is on his banning spree this will never come to London... he's deep in talks with EvoBus trying to convince them to make bendies again for London

he's deep in talks with EvoBus trying to convince them to make bendies again for London I really really doubt bendy buses are on anyone's agenda despite the T'port Cttee wittering on about them for no good reason. If they were on the agenda, loads and loads available for about 12p each lying in dealer's yards and fields. The deep irony is that they could probably be bought back, refurbed / engine upgraded for *way* less than any new bus. And just to shoot down any daft comments before they're made I am not suggesting that bendy buses come back.

New : tri-axle e200s ADL press release link but before anyone gets too excited about these coming to London, these are for New Zealand, although they would be great for inter-urban routes along fast straight A roads (or the proposed express routes)

You can have one bendy bus every half an hour vs cap 60 SD's every 15.

W13 seems the only route that CT Plus could use it on, or the 153 perhaps until the route moves to Go-Ahead Also has the 'ADL City' interior. Must be the first non-ADL vehicle to have it, although the StreetLites for the 299 will have a similar interior scheme.

The colour scheme may be the same, but the moquette used on the E400City (as well as all recent Sullivan and CT Plus deliveries) is different to the LT moquette. I was about to ask if anyone knew how long this i2e was. Then I realised they've stuck "10.8m" in great big letters down the side

Yeah the checkers+grey interior has some heated debate whether the City one is separate from LT one. I've had somebody yell at me that it's "totally different" in the past Well if you can't see it has the same colour scheme, I can't help you Personally I would say the 2 are same family: a bit like classic Stagecoach to green+yellow on 56's E40Hs
