I think this was all obvious with the tender award of the 288 and 303 only to RATP.

With the route 125 extension no longer on for September 1st, is there at least a new target date yet?

With the route 125 extension no longer on for September 1st, is there at least a new target date yet? Not seen one - may take months to sort out if it ever is because of clearance problems. LOTS are reporting that the new link road for the amended 303 won't be ready either (as I predicted weeks ago) so it will be on diversion from the first day of the restructured service.

Presumably this will either be via Hay Lane or via Stag Lane, and may not serve Colindale superstores.

No-one I have spoken to locally seems to have any idea these changes are happening - especially the lost links from Deansbrook Road to Edgware and from The Hale to Burnt Oak tube/library. They will be rather unpopular (particularly the former)!

They will be rather unpopular (particularly the former)! That's par for the course though. The public rarely have a clue because TfL don't tell them in any sort of "up front" way. The average bus passenger would have no clue about consultations or their results nor that there is a Bus Service Changes document squirrelled away on the TfL website. Even then TfL have not declared the Edgware area changes in that latter document - should happen tonight when the next update is due. I had a quick look to see if TfL had done the decent thing and put up a notice in the bus station about the Walthamstow gyratory consultation. Not a sausage and yet it's an obvious place to put something as that's where people would be most affected. It's almost as if they don't want people to respond!

I think TfL want some response but not a massive response to consultations. Some response fulfils the box ticking exercise (aren't I a cynic!), whilst too many responses would take too much effort to process.
Worse if lots of people got to hear what was planned, they might not like it. Even worse still if they were to get organised, they could cause real problems and so it wouldn't do to have too many responses!!!
Tell everyone at the last possible moment, and if the first time they find out is when the bus no longer goes to where they want, that's just unfortunate.

They will be rather unpopular (particularly the former)! Exactly what I've been saying from the start, its ridiculous that you would remove a route from a road that is quite popular and not even tell people, and then re-route it down a quiet road and a road already served by 2 routes! This was a bad idea from the start imo, at least re-route the 240 or 221 to go down Deansbrook, then that way the link isn't lost, and there will be no duplicates (221/240) going to Hale Lane. There will be lots of angry people on the first day, and when the 303 turns onto the 305 route, you can guarantee it'll be the driver that'll get shouted at, despite it not being their fault!

Many stops now have a poster announcing the changes effective from tomorrow (though the bus stop tiles have not changed).

Most 303 stops along Deansbrook still have 303 on the stop... Saw a few people waiting for a bus that will never turn up... Well done tfl.
The 305 stops along Orange Hill Road have had 305 removed now, as I notice they only display 302 now, no idea why the 303 stops along Deansbrook aren't done if them stops are done.
Been lots of complaints already as I expected.

This is the least which can be expected and not sure why tfl keeps failing again and again at this

The execution of this change has been the most pathetic thing I've seen in a long time. First of all, nothing mentioned on the TflBusAlert twitter about 305 going, and then this major mess-up: Further proof they need new social media people, the incompetence is horrifying. And previously mentioned in the Turns&Obs, no tiles changed for day #1 at all, and then 303 tiles magically ending up on the withdrawn 305 section no 3xx route now serves… Oh my gosh I wish there was someone to deal with those accountable… If I was a user I'd throw a hissy fit and get all the local MPs involved…

So If I asked them if the 77A is running, they will probably respond saying Yes. My friend did exactly that, but with the T32. Sadly no response. Still thinking? That reminds me, a while back they told someone 9H is still running. In 2018 - when the route was withdrawn in 2014 🙈
