It was very well organised, so thank you to anyone involved. Thankfully the weather was good, and the Dartford Crossing didn't have any issues.
I enjoyed all the vehicles I travelled on, but I was especially pleased to have a ride on MD60, apparently the only working example of a Scania Metropolitan in the UK (the other working example is at the Scania museum in Sweden). My first time on one of these rare vehicles. The J-reg Capital Citybus Olympian was also a highlight for me.

Second all that, very pleased to have finally rode the sole Capital Citybus dual door Olympian from that batch, runs very well and did pretty well with the hills.

Ensign are taking over the Open Top Southend route 68 from 11th July using ex Stagecoach TA 78. The service was previously run by GAL commercial from NP.
This is in this months LOTS. I assume the start date could have been delayed due to the pandemic.

I'll see if I can locate it again and post a link.

Had went out to Southend yesterday which included a ride on the 68 with the loads have been pretty decent yesterday and as ever the staff at Ensign were very friendly and welcoming to everyone using the 68.

It's been running and both the TA & WVL have been out on it - hopefully, it's there next year to try (I've done it with Go-Ahead already on a PVL)

Its a victory for Ensignbus with them winning 52.7% over the Lothian's 47.3%. and while I am at it, my photo of 392 on the Southend 68 from last week has been selected as today's profile pic.
Also, stay tuned for match with Abellio (The only London operator left in the cup) against Nottingham City Transport from 4pm today.
