E400 City I bet It’s no different from an Enviro 400 MMC.

E400 City I bet It’s no different from an Enviro 400 MMC. It's not very different, in terms of ride quality they're identical. For the most "different" experience you'll need to be sitting at the front or rear of the upper deck.

Of the types currently in use in London I think I'm only missing the StreetAir EV. Given there's only one in service it'll take a bit of effort to get it Outside of London there must be loads of untried types - I've never been on a Plaxton Centro (on any chassis), Metrodecker, Solo EV or StreetVibe for instance, and I'm sure there are plenty more. And f you start adding breadvan / minibus types it'd be easier to list the ones that I have been on rather than the ones I haven't.

Goodness where to start ...
London
BYD electric mk 1 trial buses (now gone) BYD electric SEe Wright Streetair Longer length ADL E20D MMCs. Obviously have used shorter ones on W11. Irizar Electrics on the 108 Optare Solo SR (470) Wright Streetdeck with Arriva (SW2 onwards) Metrocity EV
Non London
The Scania MMC gas buses (Reading / Nottingham) Scania MMCs with Stagecoach Wright Streetdecks with Go Ahead companies Volvo B8RLE / Wright single deckers Mercedes Sprinter minibus (new style ones) ADL E300 hybrids (as in Aberdeen) Van Hool hydrogen tri-axles (as in Aberdeen)
Ancient types
AEC Swift / Merlin (former LT ones) Volvo Ailsa (ex WMPTE/SYPTE ones that London Northern used) I've ridden on a TWPTE Ailsa and the LT evaluation ones but these others would be nice.
I suspect there are others but these are the ones that spring to mind.

Go-Ahead's MHVs have eluded me for a ride so far, even on routes scheduled for them.

I've yet to ride an OCE in London, and that's probably it! Out of oldies, believe it or not - I've never done an RF!! Or a Leyland National. Or a Daimler Fleetline. Or anything Bristol. Out of London, I need to do more of these Volvo single decks - only did B7RLE; so B10BLE and such would be nice to tick off. That 7900 Volvo I haven't done either. Don't think I've yet done a bus on the old East Lancs body nor a Spryte, or a Lowlander Myllenium. I can't remember if I've done an Irizar electric or not 🤔

Good luck finding Spryte Darts as most were Euro II and probably gone for scrap by now. Out of the electric stuff in London, I've the Streetair, Electric MMC, OCE & electric Irizar to ride - overall, I think I missed the WNH, OMH, Ethanol SP, WDH, HEV & HOV in terms of hybrids & electrics no longer in London .

Try DM2646 or the Southend Fleetline if either are running

Out of oldies, believe it or not - I've never done an RF!! Or a Leyland National. Or a Daimler Fleetline. Or anything Bristol. You haven't lived The best Daimler Fleetlines are the old single deck Alexander bodied ones - screaming engines guaranteed. Not a London fixture but they were in a few select NBC fleets such as Northern General. I believe a former PMT example has survived into preservation and is rallied. I'd also recommend a Bristol RE / FLF / LH as evocative of much of the old NBC era that us older gits experienced when growing up. I like Leyland National 2s but had no great issue with the first generation ones. Can still remember when one came down our old street for the very first time. My main regret is not having a half decent camera in my early teens - so much missed at that time as it was when fleets were changing a great deal. My flickr faves are filled with lots of photos that others took of the types of buses I grew up with. I would have linked to individual photos but Flickr is being temperamental. One other oldie I'd like to ride is a Foden NC. There were very few of these but at least one, possibly more, have made it to preservation and the WMPTE example is now roadworthy.

Current London types I haven't been on:
B5TL / Gemini 3 N94UD OmniCity K8SR Dart SLF / Nimbus E200 / Esteem E200 / Evolution E200 MMC Citaro C2 MetroCity (diesel variant) i2e Solo SR StreetAir
And probably a few other types I can't remember right now. This doesn't include those which I've only travelled on in provincial fleets, such as E400 MMC diesels and StreetLites.
I haven't travelled on a DMS or M, though have been on non-London Fleetlines and Metrobuses. I also, as far as I know, have never been on a Bristol VR. Apart from that I'm not going to mention provincial types here as that would be a very long list.
