It's not as if they haven't been forecasting this for 2-3 days. Ludicrous that yet again Barnet, Waltham Forest and Redbridge Councils are caught out. This nonsense really should not happen.

Well that was a rather rubbish attempt at snow in east London. Same with Leicester. It only snowed for a little bit in Leicester and then stopped. Thank goodness it didn’t snow fully

Well that was a rather rubbish attempt at snow in east London. In North London the floor had a small coating, but by the time it even started to get half decent it stopped and its slowly beginning to melt... Not the best attempt at snow, but I guess its good so businesses/transport can keep going.

We’ve hardly had any here in Huddersfield Seems like the ALX400 is a dying breed in the Hudd and Fax ... not dead ... but believe everything pre 51-reg will be gone when I am next up there in Feb

We’ve hardly had any here in Huddersfield Seems like the ALX400 is a dying breed in the Hudd and Fax ... not dead ... but believe everything pre 51-reg will be gone when I am next up there in Feb Indeed, its the W and X and the one Y reg ALX400's that are leaving. I actually had one of their replacement ex Leeds Gemini's tonight: flic.kr/p/2en7SS6 . Despite the replacements all being there, I don't think any of them have actually left the fleet yet. I'm not so sad to see the back of them though, the 51 reg ones I get on the 398 are worn down, have hard seats and in some cases they're quite heavily restricted too. If you want a guaranteed ride on a ALX400 though, your safest bet would be riding the 398/399 (depends if you're coming up during the week or weekend) since its allocated 5 51 reg ALX400's (although one of them, 30951 is currently long term VOR). Those 51 reg ALX400's should be around until September at least

No significant snow here in SE London : just a light dusting. Seems North/North East London worse.

Be strange seeing B9TLs from Halifax after years of 06-reg B7TLs being the most modern double deck ... even if the newest is 09-reg ... ok oldest 07-reg
