Vehicle news update:
Reading Buses:
ADL Enviro400 City 241-248 are expected to enter service en-masse on lion 4/X4 on Monday 12th February. Generic-liveried 741 has yet to be delivered.
Acquired Scania/ADL Enviro300GS 309, 436 and 437 have arrived back from Bus & Coach World, Blackburn on 13th January. 309 was still in Stagecoach livery but 436/437 had partial Buzz livery. 436-439 are all expected to be available for service from Monday 5th February.
Wright Streetdeck Electroliner demonstrator LY71 GJE is on loan from 31st January until 17th February. It will carry temporary fleetnumber 1006 and is expected to be used on routes 21a and 50.
Scania OmniDekka 863 is on loan to Newbury & District.
Newbury & District
ADL Enviro400s 1205 and 1206 were formally withdrawn in January, having been off the road since mid-September with issues that are not economically worthwhile to repair. These are part of the batch 1021-1209 that were originally bought by Weavaway Travel in 2011 for jetblack 1 when operating as a subcontractor for Reading Transport Ltd. All nine were acquired by RTL in 2014 when operation was brought back in-house.
Coaches 1425 and 1426 entered service on 10th January in allover white and will gain N&D livery during February half-term week.
Thames Valley Buses
With ADL Enviro200 MMCs 684-687 entering service from 19th January, ex-Courtney Buses Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse 2 453/455, and generic ex-hybrids ADL Enviro400 234/235 have all been withdrawn for disposal.
ADL Enviro400 Citys 738-740 are expected to appear on route 703 during the week commencing Monday 5th February.
ADL Enviro200 662 (KX64 AEK) has been repainted into the new Bracknell grey/yellow livery (ex plain white?).

Does anyone know anything about an all white tri-axle coach from Stewarts that usually leaves St Mary's Butts Reading about 4pm? Apparently it runs a contract to somewhere near Greenham but I can't find any information anywhere. Would be grateful for any assistance please.

Little oranges routes 19a/19b/19c will have revised timetables from Monday 19th February. The changes are to improve timekeeping, especially on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. The new times are also co-ordinated better with leopard 3 between Reading Station and Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Talking of Leopard 3, from Monday 12th February journeys to and from Wokingham will be diverted between Arborfield Green and Barkham Ride, this is due to roadworks closing part of Nine Mile Ride. The closure will be in place until early May. Services between Reading and Arborfield Green are not affected.
The new lion 4/X4 ADL Enviro400 Citys (241-248) are due to enter service on Monday 12th February. Ex-hybrid ADL Enviro400s 211-214/216/217 are likely to be withdrawn for disposal (214 has already been stood down following its engine fire in December). Diesel ADL Enviro400s 1210/1211 will remain at Reading, indeed during January 1210 was repainted into a new livery for the Royal Berks Charity which Reading Buses is supporting and can be used on any route as it is effectively a generic spare.

Apparently the wrong fleetnumber has been applied, it should be 1007. 1006 was a previous demonstrator.
