The Streetdecks will have the 6 cylinder OM936 engine (which is now also available in UK), until now UK Streetdecks have had the 4 cylinder OM934 without the more powerful option
Interesting that KMB have gone for Streetdecks and also for twin axle format. I assume these will be deployed on routes further out from the main corridors in Kowloon as their carrying capacity will be a little lower than tri-axles.
Also keeps Wrightbus with some business given the downturn in UK orders for their vehicles. Also noteworthy that these are all manufactured in Ballymena and no kits with assembly in China. They must have put in phenomenally good prices to get the order over ADL who have local assembly facilities in SE Asia.
