"was spotted burnt out". It's a bit hard to miss given that's right in the main part of Hatfield Heath. Looks like a Gemini bodied Volvo of some sort. Tower Transit vehicle??

Certainly a SWB Volvo B7TL Gemini Mk 1. I thought Tower Transit at first due to the website style on the rear being incredibly similar but the remains of the seats look like the Rowan Telmac ones found in Go-Ahead WVL's?

did london united have mk 1's,as the website looks to be www.uni something They had three 51 reg ones coded VR226-228 but these were withdrawn years ago and aren't in the United Transit fleet AFAIK The three VRs were bought by Network Warrington after leaving LU. It looks like the burnt bus was a much more recent withdrawal from London, running in as-withdrawn condition but with the addition of its new owner's website.

According to Dunmow broadcast website the bus belonged to a youth project named United Borders, a youth project based in Harlesden. I have read that the vehicle was stolen earlier in the evening but I can’t find any trace of it’s id

This was on the news over the weekend. The guy was distraught and was calling on the mayor to help fund another bus. The bus broke down, so apparently it was left at roadside overnight to be recovered the next day. But to his surprised yobs set fire to it.
