At Limebourne, even before their the takeover of Travel London the Caetano-bodied Dart SLFs had full route/destination blinds for the C1 and 211 I remembered that, plus I hoped that I wouldn't get a Caetano on the 211 after the takeover as I loved the Excels too much. I only ever saw 1 Caetano on the 211 in my time at Limebourne after the merger of the two companies. I did manage to stick an Excel out on the 156 a couple of times though The Excels were good little buses (most of the time) totally unsuited on the 211 though.

Can’t believe no one noticed this, Dagenham's Power blinded E200’s and E400’s set contained Various blinds for The Olympics, Thurrock School/College routes and a colourful display of rail replacement blinds

I remember seeing a photo of an LT blinded for route 56, this being a genuine photo and not photo fit. Are there other LT batches with non-LT routes other than the 56 and 32? I wouldn't be surprised if at least one Boris Bus had blinds fitted that were meant for regular double deckers, therefore including other routes.

One one Rail Replacement job I had to put the buses on an extended diversion round an accident, one driver turned up an hour later showing "Mystery Tour." When I asked him why, his reply was (without the swear words) "I have no idea where I'm going."

Wasn't there a tight turn somewhere on the 211 that was a bit tricky for the Caetanos? IIRC that was the reason they specified 9.6m Excels instead of one of the longer versions. It had to be rerouted to allow the DD conversion.
As a passenger I always liked the Excels (when they worked), although I do remember some of the 211 batch vibrated really badly when idling. Were they any more reliable than the early Excels?

There was indeed a tight turning in the old Waterloo-bound routing, which was from Beaufort Street left onto Kings Road. Also to note that the Caetanos where long wheelbase vehicles at around 10.6m.

193 was on DM DN blinds I've heard that the 193 may be added to some SC E400 blinds as well, but I'm not 100% on that

Mind you, if TAs had blinds for the H37, anything's possible.
Oxted might have been used for Southern rail jobs? Can't think of anything else that would have taken an MB bus to Oxted recently.

Some ldp's at SW had 11,36,N11,87,88,133,N133,333,345,196,37,155,N155,N44 on the blinds 155 was actually not a bad one as ldp's were used if Balham High Road was closed allowing ldp buses to use Bedford hill with the low bridge youtu.be/E3ba3XZqLpE
