Living in North London now, I have noticed that some very unusual buses are turning up on some quite unusual routes. For example, just lately, ex Garston SW's have turned up on the 102,141 & 329. Now I know that Garston garage is closing but it makes life much more interesting. HV's on the 102 & 329. What do you think of this? What is the most unusual vehicle you have seen on a route? Over to you guys.

Today seems to be the day of the SW on the 329. Numbers 1,5 & 10 all working on the route.

How many routes have used both DDs and single-door SDs?
The 463 has, but do the DD workings use the same routeing.
The H18/H19 currently have one scheduled DD on the route, but has previously used the short OSs (from the H2/H3).

The 396 uses DD's from the 62, 145 & 169 on a regular basis with sometimes there are single door MMC's from the 462 appearing onto the 396.
The 184 has a Schooldays DD working (with rare DD workings running the full route) and regular single door ENN's workings from the W4 as well.

C3 was converted directly from little Solos to DDs (and with a frequency increase - remember those - shortly afterwards too). C2 is also notable in that it started with tiny Optare Citypacers but gradually progressed to DD.
Remember most step-entrance Darts were single-door so any route that is now DD but was Dart-operated before the low-floor era would fit the bill. Too many of those to list.

I have spotted:
An RATP SLE on the 258, H14 and 642
An RATP VHR on the 292 (very weird seeing an LT looking bus in Borehamwood)
A withering Dart (S315 JUA) a couple of years ago on the 142 which is a very busy route.
