Going back a few years, I drove a StarRider on the 235... Blimey, those are a blast from the past.

I remember back in the day driving a VC on the 155, 77A and 345. Shocking things they were but a break from the 133 was always welcomed, but getting one on another route was always a bit of a treat.

Loved riding them as a kid, really great and nippy buses - had many rides on the 133 & 196 as well as one on the 37 and one on a day trip to Brighton

Also drove them on those routes plus occasionally on the 37, 49 and one occasion on the 88. One actually made it on the 11 which i remember reading in LOTS. The 295 got the odd PVL sighting a few months before the route transferred to Westbourne Park. I believe one of the X reg PDLs just about made it at somewhat the last moment as they arrived that bit closer towards contract end of the route. The 49 got the odd single door step entrance Dennis Dart (DRL) on route during the mid 90s when part of the route got transferred to the Battersea (BB) outstation. Seven Metrobuses got transferred but one would always end up back at Stockwell due to requirements there which resulted in a 295 bus used on the 49. Funnily enough one of my examples of witnessing bus blind banditry was me driving DRL54 on route. Blind banditry was also the other way round with the odd Metrobus on the 295, this being prior to the route eventually converting from DRL back to M. Merton briefly had Titans allocated to it for official use on their relevant routes. Not sure if one managed to escape on the 200. I was a bit gutted that Stockwell never got any or that I wasn't allocated to Merton at the time where I could have driven one for experience in comparison against the M. Would have loved to have played with them gears... especially hill start.

I would have loved to have been at Q when the SPs were there. Speaking of which I believe one of the unique odd working from that depot were the few SP workings on the 12.

In the Armchair (pre - Metroline) days, there used to be a handful of NI plated Atanteans which would appear amongst the new Olympians on the 65 and 260 which were good for thrash Nowadays, an MMC on the 318 is still a nice sight amongst the junk also the W4 ENNs on the 184 is a nice surprise

Strange day on the 329 again. 4 SW's on the route today. 1,4,8,9, with only 4 coming off at 0945. 9's first run out for a long while.
