ADHs and VHs on the 72 (now that the restriction of Hammersmith bridge is gone) VHs and SPs on the 33 (now that restriction of Hammersmith is gone)
I wonder if double decks can go on the 209 (now that it doesn't go over Hammersmith bridge) or 440 (now that it doesn't go though the low bridge at Chiswick).

Double deckers couldn't fit down Avondale road. 209 doesn't need them but double deckers on 33 and 72 is a nice idea 😀

Remember the Avondale Road terminus is on the site of the former Mortlake Garage - which used to house DDs and was the terminus of the 9 for many many years. Indeed it was only the weight restriction on Hammersmith Bridge that forced the 9 to be cut back.
I'm pretty sure the route was tendered with a DD option in the not too distant past, as TfL had one eye on a future strengthening of the bridge.

I’m surprised a HV hasn’t managed to work on the 38 whatsoever.
