Very surprised to read the driver arrested was in his 60s ... so not expecting that! He may have just taken some painkillers or something similar? Obviously not prudent to speculate.

Because you wouldn't expect a driver of that age to be arrested for being under influence of drugs. I have known a few people to be fired for drugs, but they are mainly of a young age. There has been another driver of recent in his 60's fired for hard drugs, which is deeply disturbing imo.

Indeed you don't see many smackheads' in their 60's! I think we need to be careful not to be insinuating anything here, the driver might well be completely innocent.

I think we need to be careful not to be insinuating anything here, the driver might well be completely innocent. This is a possible cause that the driver may have taken over the counter medication which can cause a failure of a drug test.Such medications are as innocent as Day/Night Nurse anything that contains Codeine and could be the mixture of two that has caused a reaction (ie drowsiness or blackout)
