Another Consultation in healthly streets theme affects 4 day bus routes and 2 night routes Usual stuff (for these days), 20mph limits, banned turns, cycle lanes, reducing traffic by making it go elsewhere. But is only an interim scheme pending cycle superhighway 4 consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roads/tooley-street/For reasons I cannot fathom, the attached plan shows bus stops where the painted cage appears to be a different length for each stop

Cue taxi demos that block London Bridge and Tooley Street. Given the RV1 is going to be axed surely it will be down to 3 bus services in future - 47, 343 and 381? It's also not terribly clear whether sightseeing buses will retain access to the area or not. Also no mention of emergency service vehicle access - can they override restrictions regardless?

Without increased PVR, the 47 becomes 4 bph, down to 3 evenings and 2 on Sundays?

I bloody hope it doesn't go forward. We don't need anymore cycle lanes etc!!!
Don't remove the bus lanes as they are very important.
