This is MB, to alleviate any doubt. Appears to be a breaking story, as it appears some of the early runout got away before the fire began, notably on the 320 and R11, though some R routes and the 353 are currently not running.

I am absolutely hoping this wasn’t anything to do with an arson attack. How disgustingly low would you have to stoop to deliberately endanger the lives of people who work there. As MB doesn’t run any night services hopefully noone would have been there at 4am. I sincerely hope noone was affected by the fire, don’t know if any members on here work at MB but I hope you’re all alright.

I think it's a little too early to jump to any conclusions about the cause, the Fire Brigade will do their thing as will insurers.

Quite shocking news and I agree that it's inappropriate to speculate on the cause, no doubt we'll know that in due course. Commendably there are quite a few buses running at the moment although obviously services will be limited. My immediate thought was about taking over the 51, I wonder whether Stagecoach would be able to continue running it for the time being at such short notice? The main thing is nobody seems to have been injured or worse, buses can be replaced.
