Quite shocking news and I agree that it's inappropriate to speculate on the cause, no doubt we'll know that in due course. Commendably there are quite a few buses running at the moment although obviously services will be limited. My immediate thought was about taking over the 51 on Saturday, I wonder whether Stagecoach would be able to continue running it for the time being at such short notice? The main thing is nobody seems to have been injured or worse, buses can be replaced. The 51 is not being taken over this Saturday anyway? No of course not, I don't know what I was thinking? None the less it's only a few weeks away and maybe Stagecoach could continue running it on a temporary basis?

3 MECs and 1 WS burnt out. Unsure what else at the moment. At least one E200 gone too.

If MECs are destroyed as looks certain then LVF suggests 53, 54, 56 and 60 currently not running, plus 62 which last ran on Tuesday 13th.

I would imagine 62 was over the pits and 53 was out to the bitter end of yesterday.
