Right I've seen a list compiled elsewhere of vehicles presumably affected so I'll make a list to make it easier seeing as a lot of discussion has already taken place on that front: 4 Enviro 400's - believed to be E60, 136, 224 & EN33 1 Enviro 400H - believed to be EH18 1 Enviro 200 - believed to be SEN21 3 Mercedes-Benz Citaros - believed to be MEC54, 56 & 60 1 Volvo B9TL Gemini2 - as yet unidentifiable but is an ex 474 example 1 Scania Omnicity - believed to be 563 1 Wrightbus Streetlite - as yet unidentifiable but is a 12 reg WS 1 Scania Olympus - believed to be 882 Now this list brings it beyond the 11 buses mentioned so any corrections are free to be made MEC53 has now appeared in service so it’s definitely MECs 54, 56 and 60 that are lost. LVF have listed a number of these as fire damaged - would appear the WS destroyed is WS9.

Still amazed and impressed they are running such a good service.
I wonder how they managed to do the morning run out whilst the site was still being damped down.
Will buses be able to return to the garage this evening?

Bad as it is things could have been much worse and credit to the fire brigade for getting what was clearly a considerable fire under control so quickly, staff tried to tackle the fire initially. My daughter lives about two miles from MB and she can smell it in her back garden, she said locals are very impressed at how many buses are running today, they weren't really expecting anything to be running under the circumstances, I suppose having spare buses on site ready for the 51 helped? Maybe some of the recently withdrawn Scania's can be returned to service in the short term, worse case the last time I passed Ensign their yard was a sea of red buses.

WVL413 another one damaged in the fire according to someone on the LVF Facebook group. 11 MB buses now listed on LVF as being fire damaged, so hopefully no others are involved

My thoughts go out to anyone affected by this tragic fire. Oh those poor 11 buses, GAL need to find replacements for these. I wonder what will substitute for the MECs on the 358, either to increase the 227's order or to use 10.8 / 10.2 metre existing buses until the end of contract?

They would probably use the ex 293 Scania's as cover as they remain in storage at MB and are unaffected by the fire

WS9 is in service so no WS's were destroyed. 563 and 882 now listed as fire damaged, hope they weren't destroyed, although most of the buses destroyed appear to be accounted for now and didn't include 563 or 882 Hopefully it wasn't 187 either that was destroyed

LVF now appears to have 11 of the 12 vehicles affected after all the rumour and speculation. Which in a situation like this is quite understandable.
The 12 buses destroyed or damaged are:
Enviro 400s E60, 94, 136, 224. Enviro 40H hybrid EH18 Volvo/Wright WVL413 Scania OmniCity 563 Mercedes Citaros MEC54, 56, 60 Enviro 200 SEN21
Also Enviro 400 EN33, which was yet to enter service and not on LVF.

I am hoping to take a trip past MB tomm evening to see the latest. I'll probably get a 208 to Bromley South then change for a 358. Keen to see the garage status

Just seen what bus EN33 is after looking at the regs of the buses GAL purchased. It should be SN11BNU, that must be one of the unluckiest buses along with CT Plus’s 2510. EN33 had a bad accident when it was DN33625 under TT and now it’s been part destroyed by fire. 2510 also suffered the same fate but of course survived its fire. I hope GAL can repair as many buses as possible.

The others are damaged beyond repair
