Mayor is continuing his 4 years fare freeze Also introducing a weekly oyster fare cap from 10 Dec of £21.20 (which was the rate of the weekly bus and tram pass) the press release release doesn't give the small print, but it might not be as flexible, eg can you have capping Thur-Wed www.london.gov.uk/press-releases/mayoral/mayors-tfl-fares-freeze-confirmedMayor has decided to continue to fund (translation: will add the cost to all London ratepayers) all concessions, including 60+ (even though state pension age is now 65 and starts rising to 66 in New Year)

My regular reminder that the Mayoral precept for TfL raises only a few million quid a year and doesn't cover the cost of Director salaries never mind any travel concessions. It has not changed for many years and is not proposed for change next year either. www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/mayors_consultation_budget_2018-_2019.pdf
