For me my favourites are the 293, because when you get out of Epsom it doesn't feel like I am in London. 163 just a really useful route. 200 because Wimbledon village is lovely 211 because it is the route I have fond memories from my childhood going along Victoria Street Least favourites, 76 at Waterloo it is routed down york Road which if u want the station is awful comparative to the 341, 26 etc Any bus route in the Mitcham area I have had bad experiences 152, 157 and 201 especially I like the 163 aswell for its convoluted routing between Morden and Wimbledon. Someone mentioned the 80 on like the first or second page as one of the worst routes but I think it's quite decent, just because it's circuitous doesn't mean it's bad. Quite a lot of the Sutton routes are good The 157 is an interesting one because it's a cross Croydon route and I think that places like Norwood Junction, Selhurst and Croydon have a different identity to places like Wallington and Carshalton

Any bus that goes through Harlesden is particularly bad, choc a block traffic, ugly scenery The 220 is one of two halves: Harlesden to Shepherd Bush is proper ugly, but Shepherds Bush to Wandsworth is much prettier and greener Although the greenery is tricky to appreciate when you get caught in a 7000 year long traffic jam on the route I think the Shepherds Bush - Willesden Junction bit is quite charming, spotting 220s from the Overground and going over the bridge, and it's not normally congested (in my experiences anyway.) The station forecourt where the route terminates and the surrounding area is actually quite nice, riding the 266 especially from Acton to WJ (Acton Lane or the station, before the ugly town centre) in the sunlight is very lovely. The 266 and lovely don’t go hand in hand

I really dislike the 180, it's so boring and industrial with barely anything good to see Perhaps pigeons at the square by Tesco in Woolwich is the best it gets

Favourite routes: 157, 468, X26
These are probably 3 of some of my favourite routes. Despite them being awfully busy and caught in traffic at times, they’re what I would call backbone routes of South London— they take you to many useful places, and are all round interesting, lengthy routes. Other South London backbone routes in my opinion would include 109, 250, 410, 450 etc.
Neither a favourite or least favourite, but more on the least favourite side: 450
Despite this being a “backbone route” as I earlier said, and it being my most used route, I can’t say I enjoy it very much unless at nighttime. It’s very indirect, however it is understandable as the whole point is for it to serve a lot of back roads which don’t have many or any other transport services. It gets awfully busy especially in the morning and evening rush hour— buses have to skip multiple stops full to the brim back to back. And to make it worse, TfL have the cheek to -5 from its PVR upon contract renewal. I don’t even want to imagine how bad it will be for GAL when they take over

I don’t even want to imagine how bad it will be for GAL when they take over The 450 isn't that slow just because it takes back roads, and some users have said that it is quicker than the 194 end to end, the only place I'd say is indirect is around Kingswood Road, perhaps that part could be withdrawn and handed over to a route that terminates at Crystal Palace.

I know the 450 is a long route because I use it literally everyday, and I’ve done it end to end multiple times. It may be slightly faster than the 194 on occasions, but that doesn’t mean it’s fast. Both the 194 and 450 are quite indirect routes either way. Though I am surprised that the 194 allegedly takes longer than 450 on most occasions since 450 goes through way more busier areas and is much more indirect than the 194
