Not directly affecting any individual bus service but a large scale consultation for a huge scheme affecting roads from Wood Lane, Shepherds Bush Green, Holland Park Avenue and Notting Hill Gate. Extensive highway changes and lane reductions to create a 2 way segregated cycle lane over this long stretch. Some bus stops are removed altogether and many are relcoated. It is telling that the scheme drawings in Hammersmith and Fulham's area have the council logo on them alongside TfL's but those in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea have no such branding. Suggests to me that the Royal Borough may not exactly be fully supportive! Main consultation pageThere are also sub pages to each of the area schemes, 4 in all. Something tells me this scheme is going to run into enormous opposition in the Holland Park area!!

Cue to remove the 31 or 94 from Holland Park Avenue.

Cue to remove the 31 or 94 from Holland Park Avenue. I expect the 31 to be cut at NHG

Unsurprisingly, the residents of Notting Hill/Holland Park and Kensington & Chelsea Council have given TfL a firm no over this proposition. I can’t say I didn’t expect the residents to kick up a fuss and they’ve managed to throw their weight around to block the cycle lane

Good. We can't keep slowing everything down for a cycle Lane.
