National Transport Authority of Ireland has issued tenders for 600 hybrid double deck buses, until now (apart from some hybrids for appraisal) all buses have been pure diesel (but pollution is not a big problem in Ireland) www.nationaltransport.ie/news/nta-commences-procurement-process-for-600-hybrid-buses/Specs include Motorised wheelchair ramp at front door Centre exit door Wheelchair and Buggy space (both accessible from front door) Minimum service speed 65 km/h (40.4 mph) Minimum 40 seats upper deck, min 17 (not counting longitudinal) downstairs Maximum length 11.5m I would have thought Wrightbus and ADL are front runners, perhaps Volvo+MCV
