There isn't that much detail on the redvelopment of the bus station. From what I've made out, the plan is for a bigger bus station which will have more room for pedestrians, and more room for buses. However, I'm sure most people will agree with me that the current bus station is unpleasant, and far too small so a rebuild is welcome.

As this is my local bus station, I strongly agree there that the current Harrow. Bus Station is too small and not very pleasant. It gets congested pretty quickly and the 258 & H14 having their changeovers there don’t really help. Stand space is also an issue here with the Harrow Community Transport stop acting as an overflow for terminating buses. As for these proposals, I’m confused as to how this “redevelopment” will go, and the diagrams don’t really help. So I’m pretty much confused about what it is that’s being proposed.

Thanks for reminding me TfL should have denied RATP use of Harrow Bus Station as a changeover point. Its a terrible place to do live changeovers. I despise how each stop only has space for one bus meaning you often spend ages waiting for the bus in front to vacate the stop. This was irritating for me as my 140 was running late and I was trying to get on the 340 ahead but because there's only space for one bus, the 340 was blocking the stop, and until it left my 140 couldn't alight. I had a fifteen minute wait in the horrible bus station

Following on from what I was saying earlier, Bus Stop E here at Harrow Bus Station has a bus stand parking bay adjacent to it and they are pretty close together. This too can be chaotic.
Allow me to explain. Bus Stop E, along with being the start point of route 223 and the stop for through routes 114 & 183, is the alighting point for routes that terminate at Harrow Bus Station (except for the 223, 395, 483 & sometimes the H17). This bus stop can take up to 2 buses at any one time and as buses here tend to take there time picking up/dropping off passengers, are often queues that lead out onto College Road which can cause congestion. There are some scenarios where terminating buses let passengers off on the crossing at the beginning of the bus station which is a big no no especially if there were less able passengers concerned. It even makes crossing the road into the bus station difficult, like a game of skipping stones where we have to walk briskly between buses in case they move.
Now for the stand that is adjacent for this stop. They’re quite close together. I was there all this week and there have been occasions where a bus is parked at this stand, there’s a bus(es) in Stop E and there are sometimes buses that get stuck in the middle of the two. This is another factor that can sometimes lead to congestion here. Another reason why Harrow would do well with a bigger, safer bus station.

I agree with you the crossing to get between the bus station, and the train station is a nightmare. I've been stuck in a gridlock of buses trying to get out of that bus station because of the poor placement of that crossing. I would imagine for drivers on routes starting at Harrow Bus Station, it must be tempting to leave the stand early because of how long it takes it can take to serve, and get out of, the bus station. Do schedules have enough time to faciltate serving Harrrow Bus Station with the queues you often get there?
