The long gone MH. Muswell Hill had a nice herringbone forecourt. Regret I never knew it, but what a stable of routes! All the 43, the 'main' allocation on the 134 (arguably), then the 210 and the 212, the latter becoming the W7. not forgetting the 244. A very worthy favourite imo.

For me its two garages and for the same reasons.
WH and LI - I find the presentation of buses and drivers are of a real high standard especially at LI - You would not think the DNs on the 69 are 3 years into a contract and the same with the VNs on the 262 /473. WH is a close second, they are really good at allocations and again buses are always well presented.

For me it’s these 2 garages but more to do with my childhood memories
AE (Hendon)- I remember this one for a couple of reasons. It was round the corner from where my dad use to work and also my very first bus memory was riding one of their Ms on the 183 which I use to ride regularly from my home to visit my dad and also using the Ms on the short ride to Brent Cross after visiting my dad.
HD - this one as I lived round the corner from HD for 17 years and watched it evolve from Harrow Buses days to Metroline days and remember the Ms and ‘futuristic’ looking TAs when these first arrived. It also got me interested in buses in general as I watched buses come and go

Mine have typically been HT, NX & SW for so many central London routes. Also HD and the original WH for the local areas & operations. I like AL for being an outer south London bus garage so near the Underground, and enjoyed it keeping DMSs longer than its northern counterparts.
Although S has some excellent buses now, I typically found S & SF the naffest garages. On August Bank Holiday 1987 I could only look on at route 73 with horror! I was pleased when route 72 was converted to opo as route 105 wad ejected from S. I was also pleased when the route 133 tender started with LBL LG(SW) instead of SL(BN) as route 49 then lost its S allocation. Even in 2014 I approved of route 49 being awarded elsewhere, namely Abellio. I also enjoyed the few years from 1995 when SF closed.

It's difficult for a SE Londoner to admit his favourite garages were in the East End, but truth must out Yes, the original WH - my first experience of visiting it was after some, but not all, of its trolleybus routes had been converted to diesel Routemasters so both types were in evidence, but later there was a vast RT allocation for the 25 transferred from G, Forest Gate, which had closed down, and these did appear on routes like the 69 too: I'm pretty sure I saw a rather derelict looking RM1 dumped inside the garage too. PR (Poplar) i loved too, my first visit (only to its entrance) being when it was still a trolleybus DEPOT (LT had great sensitivities about which was which!) but brand new RMs were standing lined up ready to enter service a fortnight later. My trio of East End garages ends with D (Dalston) known to me as a kid from seeing an occasional RTL from there passing through Bromley or Lewisham, but even more so from their operation of the 11, in the days when you could stand at the top of Whitehall and if you didn't see at least one 11 it was a rare occasion, so frequent was the route, and most of those buses were from D. I only ever visited it once, during the last week of both route 178 and of the RLH type, and was amazed at the stygian gloom and feeling it had hardly changed since petrol bus days. I also saw an RT fully blinded for the Sunday 106A and wondered whether it'd ever worked it in place of an RM.

Another intriguing thing about Dalston was that it just had one route passing it, the 236, but D only ever had an allocation on it for a very brief period. It wasn't because Dalston didn't operate single deckers, they had the 208/A from Clapton Pond using RFs identical to the 236's. A quirk of scheduling.
