Apologies if this has been raised previously. Whilst waiting in the monsoon this morning, I noticed that the bus stop at Orpington War Memorial, outside MacD, has tiles for 21 routes that serve that stop. Are there other stops that serve as many routes?

Are there other stops that serve as many routes? wow that is a lot. you would think they would have have a couple of different stops in the area so that one stop doesn't get too overcrowded.

I’m guessing because a number of the routes are low frequency, it’s not too much an issue for that amount of routes to serve the stop.

Are there other stops that serve as many routes? I can’t beat that total but certain stops on Streatham Hill & Streatham High Road have 15 routes serving one stop.

I believe stop J in the Strand, near Bedford Street, has 23 routes serving it, 24 if you include the Heritage 15. Used to be 25 before the 23 was foolishly taken away!

The stop Waterloo Bridge/South Bank is served by thirteen routes. Before the Central London cuts it was served by sixteen routes with the 4, 171, and RV1 all falling victim to the axe

Indeed, the R7 serves that stop in both directions, so it is 21+

And the 13 used to be on there too. So many routes that even TfL lost count - for many years the N26 and N47 tiles were missing. I only noticed this when one eagle-eyed N26 driver refused to stop at Bedford Street on the grounds that "it doesn't say N26 on there". I didn't believe him at first but he was right! I think this was eventually corrected when the N199 replaced the N47.
