Yeah I live in Mill Hill, so I use all of the routes a lot - 142 & 251 weekly. 288 & 303 a little less. (303 used to be more before the changes of September last year, which made the route useless for me) Yea 303 is back to normal now and I prefer how it is now, seems quicker to Kingsbury now that we don't go up stag lane and hay lane. I'm talking its changes where the 303 was rerouted up through Hale Lane and Deans Lane, its previous routing down Deansbrook Road is what I mainly used it for to get to Edgware. Now it no longer does that routing the route is useless to me when - except for going to Grahame Park (Which is rare) or if I happen to go into Mill Hill Broadway to take the 221/240 to Edgware (Usually I take 302 then 204/251 though) and the 303 turns up first (Which is rare as it has a lower frequency so usually the 221 comes first). As for going to Kingsbury for me thats been a recent thing, and I tend to just take the 302 & then swap for the 183/204/324 which takes me to Kingsbury Station. I yearn for the days pre September 2018 changes, I used the 303 between Deansbrook & Edgware my whole life, starting off with Metroline and its 51 reg DLDs, then Arriva at GR with its variety, mainly including the DWLs/DDLs/PDLs as well as the only 2 examples of Volvo B6BLE/ Wright Crusaders in London service (3258/3260). Sadly since RATP took over I've only been able to experience the DLEs on around 12 occasions (Maybe less) in the past year, previously under Arriva it was around 2-7 times a week! Overall I never think the 303/305 changes should've ever taken place tbh. Though I guess I can say I had my first ever E200MMC ride on the route with DLE30251 around a year ago. Shame DLEs don't make appearances on the 251, as I'd definitely ride the 251 more, right now I avoid it due to its crap buses with horrible, cramped leg room and just get the 32/142/204/292 to Burnt Oak and interchange with the 302 instead (302 also takes me a bit closer).

Seeing as today is the last day of 2019, I thought I'd do my top most used route of this decade, and also this year: Top 5 most used routes this year: 1) 302 - I had previously used it a lot for connection to Deansbrook Road, but since then this year I have used it as replacement for the 303, since rerouting, and in the latter half of this year I have also used it to get to Roe Green.
2) 204 - Again I now use this as a 303 replacement, as I get it to Burnt Oak Station and swap for the 302. Also like the 302 in the latter half of the year I began using it as interchange with the 302 to get from Roe Green to Kingsbury. Although thats not everyday, as the 324 can often take that same job too.
3) 142/324 - The 142 is another route I use to get around Edgware, I often use it between Burnt Oak and Edgware in the mornings, and can also use it to get to Colindale Superstores from Edgware in the evenings. The 324 is only third here because I only began using it in the latter half of the year, as mentioned in the 204 point, however I also now often use it to get to Brent Cross Tesco from Kingsbury and sometimes from Stanmore Broadway to Kingsbury, which means its seen intensive use in the last few months - pushing it to number 3, next year it may be higher.
4) 186 - Another route that has seen a lot more use this year - towards the start of the year I'd often use it as a occasional way of getting to Edgware - but since I now do later timings on some days, I now get it more frequently (Up to twice a week) as it is a quick link to Edgware from Mill Hill Broadway in off peak times with no traffic. I also now use it when I make trips to Brent Cross Tesco, on the way back I use it between Brent Cross Shopping Centre and Mill Hill Broadway.
5) 32/251 - These are other routes I often use around Edgware and have definitely taken the 5th spot this year.
Other honourable mentions: Other routes I've used a decent amount this year - 107, 114, 183 (Will probably hit top 5 next year, was definitely close this year, I just started using it too late on in the year), 221, 240, 292, 340 Routes I've use 2-3 times this year - 79, 113, 210 (Will definitely have more use next year), 288, 303 Routes I've used for the first time this year - 13, 183, 210, 245, 324
Top most used route of this decade: I'd say route 302 definitely takes top spot for this - 303 was on path to being at a similar status, but the route change in 2018 knocked it down a few spots, probably won't even be in top 10 in 2020-2029.
Top 5 most used vehicle batch of this year: 1) Metroline 62/13 reg VWHs 2) Metroline 10/60/12 reg TEs 3) RATP London Sovereign 12/62 reg ADEs/13 reg VHs/67 & 68 reg ADHs 4) Metroline 12 reg VWs 5) Metroline 57/08/59 reg TEs/RATP London Sovereign 58/11 reg DEs/Arriva London 59 reg DW
Routes I have used this decade that are now withdrawn: 305, RV1
Bus types I used for the first time this year: Enviro 200 MMC & Volvo B5LH/NRM.

For me:
1: W7 - you could probably split my journeys on the W7 into journeys to Crouch Hill and journeys to Finsbury Park and each of those separate 'routes' would still be my top 2 most used routes. 2: 43/134 - I use them in about equal measure to get to the city/west end 3: 102 - has plenty of useful links for my area 4: 603 - I use to get this bus to school every day but I could honestly cheese roll down Spaniard's road quicker than the 603 in traffic, and it just does not get me to school on time anymore 5: 13 - Useful links around my school 6: 113 - Slightly less useful links around my school
The 24, 27, W3 and 144 probably are all a bit lower.
To be honest, this is all just a bit of a wild guess, I might log my bus usage properly in 2020 and see what the proper list looks like.

Definitely do that, I’ve logged every single journey I’ve ever made on London buses and it becomes very very addictive

So I recently started a spreadsheet containing my bus usage data, decided it would be a bit of fun to see what is truly my most used routes, here are the results as of 11/02/20 (Results from 01/01/20 until now): 1. 302 - 50 journeys so far 2. 204 - 24 journeys so far 3. 186 - 18 journeys so far 4. 324 - 15 journeys so far 5. 642 - 12 journeys so far (Occasionally use this to get to Edgware if I'm doing an earlier shift at work - easiest way now 303 is gone from my road!) 6. 142 - 10 journeys so far 7. 107 - 8 journeys so far 8. 32 - 7 journeys so far 9. 210 - 6 journeys so far 10. 83/183/221 - joint at 4 journeys so far 11. 13/232 - joint at 3 journeys so far 12. 240/303 - joint at 2 journeys so far 13. 102/113/114/125/263/292/326 - joint at 1 journey so far
Of course its only not even 2 months into 2020 - So a lot of the routes at the bottom will probably shift themselves up considerably. Also happy I've managed to avoid the 251 so far. My predictions will be for the 83/183/210 to go up considerably, as recently I've begun using them a lot at weekends. I also predict the 114/292 will go up more as I use them for occasional shopping trips to Harrow/Borehamwood. The 221/240 will also probably shift themselves up. So far mainly a lot of Metroline and RATP with a sprinkling of Arriva, GAL & TT.
