I Think that TFL is Becoming out of control now it the Wrong Route Extend because of the traffic in rush hour a better route is the 324 where it go on a lot back routes but first withdrawn between Brent Cross Tesco and Brent Cross Shopping Centre then extend the 143 or 326 to Brent Cross Tesco

The 82 was certainly more reliable, the 13 at the moment is just a laughing stock in terms of reliability. I always see it running in groups of 2 and 3, maybe even 4 then you'll have no bus for ages. The whole Finchley Road corridor has just been an example of what happens when you try to fix something that isn't broken. TfL clearly felt it was broken, ie over bussed. The current 13 is the same route as the old 82 and the poor service can only be down to the operator. It honestly made me truly sad when I saw how the 13 has fallen off the cliff with Tower Transit, they provide an absolute joke of a service. I miss the old days with the 82.

I honestly can't see the 112 extension to North Finchley happening, it suffers with heavy traffic on Hanger Lane in the peak hours and around Neasden in the AM peak which cause longer journey times, plus a couple 112s were Curtailed at Neasden today

I think this is a record! 1, 2, 2, 28, 28!! Sadly I think this is no record. One can argue whether the Finchley Road was over bussed before the changes, but it was certainly no more over bussed than many other corridors which didn't have such drastic cuts. The real problem with those changes was that many wanted a bus going through the West End, something lost when the old 13 routing was removed. In respect of the new 13 reliability, I agree too often it is poor and that along with routing change is doing nothing positive for bus patronage on the corridor.

Results Updated 24 Apr 2020 We recently consulted on proposals for bus services in the Brent Cross, East Finchley and North Finchley areas.
We proposed to extend route 112 from Brent Cross to North Finchley bus station. As this extended route would broadly parallel the 611 school route, we proposed to withdraw route 611.
We have now published our Consultation Report, which summarises how we sought views and insights from the areas affected and the responses we received. The report includes our responses to the most common issues raised during the consultation and next steps.
We received 231 responses to the consultation; 225 were from members of the public and six were from stakeholders.
Following our analysis and consideration of all the consultation responses, we have decided to proceed with our proposals to extend the 112 route which will be implemented on 29 August 2020. We have also decided to withdraw route 611 at the end of the summer term 2020 but will continue to monitor loadings and impact on routes 112 and 232.
Our consultation report can be found below.

I'm looking forward to the extension and I can't wait to drive to North Finchley. The report in your previous post isn’t linked? I'm using my phone as because I'm currently at Brent Cross getting ready for my 112 shift, just finding out the news, so I can't use my laptop cause I'm not at home

I'm looking forward to the extension and I can't wait to drive to North Finchley. Whilst I had and have mixed views on the extension, I'm sure it will prove a useful radial link for me in future.

Same here. I fear that if the A406 goes into melt down, as it’s very capable of doing, it’s going to go breasts vertical for the 112, worse than it usually does. On a personal note though: with some of my shifts finishing at Wembley stadium depot and me living in Wood Green, it gives me an alternative route home if I walk to Stonebridge Park, rather than using the tube and via central London to get home

Some interesting, if alarming, commments in this about the fears of inter-school violence if the 611 is withdrawn.

Some interesting, if alarming, commments in this about the fears of inter-school violence if the 611 is withdrawn. It won't be anything new sadly. Back when I was at school there'd often be a brawls on the 368 between St Edward's and Warren over which school deserved the back seats. Another problem would be the 673 where St Edward's would always storm the bus at the Chadwell Heath High Road stop and then effectively try to force the Warren kids out. That got so bad that Warren had to change their school times to be half an hour after the St Edward's finish to minimise any contact between the schools. I at the time was always hoping that there'd be a variant of the 673 that started from St Edward's instead of Warren. The flow down Whalebone Lane from both schools was identical and it would have prevented them both fighting for the only double decker that would come along (the 173 was single at the time so everybody avoided it).
