Is there a physical train track link between the Victoria line and the National rail at Northumberland Park. I read that early 67 stock were tested on the Hainault loop of the Central line, but bizarrely used the then British Rail tracks after Leyton Station (where the Asda Leyton Mills and M11 link road is) then British rail tracks up to Northumberland Park depot. I always thought there was no physical connection especially as the 2009 stock was delivered by road.

According to this map: carto.metro.free.fr/cartes/metro-tram-london/index.php?station=northumberland-parkThere is no link at Northumberland Park depot with the national rail, however there is a link at Finsbury Park with the Piccadilly Line and the Piccadilly Line has its own links with the Northern and District Lines. Although the 2009 stock are effectively stuck on the Victoria line for good as they're slightly wider than most other tube stock and the Piccadilly Line's tunnels which is the Victoria Line's only way out to my knowledge can't actually take them hence the delivery of the 2009 stock by road. I believe the Jubilee Line extension also has slightly wider tunnels although the trains are restricted by the tunnels on the rest of the line.

Canonbury Curve between Drayton Park & Highbury & Islington? That doesn't link with the Victoria Line. None of the lines in that area do.

My apologies, misread the key on the map as there is a dotted line there instead of an line currently there. I think @eastlondoner52 is correct that the only way is at Finsbury Park

It was subsequently removed and a small d**e built (as additional flood protection) between the Victoria Line tracks and mainline tracks. at Leyton the Junction was also subsequently removed, when I first came to London in the 1980s the remains of the line (by then sidings) were being used by BR for yellow track maintenance machines, common to see one just over the fence as central line train climbed out the tunnel. The Finsbury Park connections (in the former crossover tunnels at previous end of Piccadilly line and City Line) are still used by maintenance trains running from Kensington and Ruislip via Piccadilly line from Barons Court

I believe the Jubilee Line extension also has slightly wider tunnels although the trains are restricted by the tunnels on the rest of the line. I think the section of tunnels built in the 70s (Baker Street - Green Park) are just as wide, at least I assume so seeing that they were built after the Victoria Line.
