How many in total GWR HSTs are left? I'm far from being expert on this, but could be around ten? i believe they also work Cardiff to Taunton services regularly: really that whole Cardiff to Penzance corridor, via Bristol. Not sure whether any get further west than Cardiff, or to Cheltenham for instance. I think scotrail has some HSTs as well

I think scotrail has some HSTs as well They do indeed for the 7 city services Rail News the other week had some photos of the insides after refurbishment, and they've done a splendid job. Shame the cheapskate GWR couldn't have done the same and kept them on the Paddington to Penzance services rather than the hybrid monstrosities currently inflicted on us, whose electric capabilities are almost totally wasted on the line.
