Choose your favourite double deck bus here!
My favourite: Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 (MK1)

No DAF or B7TL options doesn’t seem fair to me

No DAF or B7TL options doesn’t seem fair to me Sorry, I'm no expert on older buses but I have tried to include all of the ones that I can remember. If a particular bus isn't on the list please list it below. Apologies.

I just want to ask but who actually likes Enviro 400 MMCs here?... I absolutely hate them and would much rather travel in a Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 which in my opinion is a faar better looking vehicle and a better choice for companies

Personally I find Gemini 3s pretty boring, especially having several routes near me using them, I'm not a big fan of the MkII (Many call it frog face) either. I'd take a VP/DLA/DW(G1) over anything from the 3 main bus types that are common today though (As in Evoseti/E400MMC/G3).

Daf DB25O Wright Pulsar Gemini mine ... Not on list I would agree about the original DWs. But E40H/MMCs would be my preference for more recent DD types, but before the ultracap version. I think the 258's current and previous allocations are amongst the best DD batches in London (YJ55* DWs and YY67* ADHs). Not many other routes in London have had both of these types (the 197's EHs are ultracap).

It's difficult. If I have to pick a favourite it's the E40 MMC (Picked the Hybrid but generally all variants). Then in no particular order this is followed by the EvoSeti, Omnicity, Gemini 3 B5TL, Gemini 2 B9TL, Streetdeck, E40H City and Optare MetroDecker.

My dislike of Optare products is probably no secret on this forum, but I really like the Metrodecker EV however as a bus for engineers and an economic perspective it seems awful for a company to operate with the low range and really slow charging.
