I’ve noticed that a lot of speculation goes on within operator chats regarding movements of vehicles upon a change of operator of a route etc. However some members rather not have it discussed in operator chats as they’d like to distinguish between facts and speculation so I thought it’s be a good idea to create this thread.

TE1313 which is currently at G and a former member of PB has not seen service since the 4th, wonder if it may return to PB. Seems like ML are raking in as many 2010 onward TEs to replace the 58/09 reg at PB.

Really weird seeing Metroline buses at ex-First garages, like the TE13**s and VW12**s at ON. Rather than the ex-First buses. Guess this'll soon be the norm once the last of their B9s leave at some point!

Guess this'll soon be the norm once the last of their B9s leave at some point! Well at places like ON and WJ I recon you'll see Ex First buses for a while, none of due to be withdrawn in the near future, G is most likely to get rid of all of its Ex First buses before all the other Ex First garage seeing as the 282 is due to gain 13-reg Metroline originated TEHs which are currently undergoing refurbishment. The 482 will be going to Abellio London using brand new E400SH MMCs, this will wipe out the LK08 & SN09 reg Ex First E400s at G leaving only the 12/62-reg Ex First E400s for the 92 and within the past few months, all of the Ex - First E200s have been withdrawn and replaced by Metroline ones. G are quite strict with allocations too so you'll probably find once the TEHs arrive for the 282 that TE workings will be rare as G are strict even down to the age of buses (12/62 reg on the 92, 09 reg on the 482. 08/09 reg on the 282, VMHs on the 607)

Guess this'll soon be the norm once the last of their B9s leave at some point! Funnily enough the native buses that end up at depots such as ON, UX etc. usually end up with First parts on them anyway - for example VW1284/1287 at HD gained a purple First piece of flooring on the back wheelchair ramp whilst at G, various ON TEs* on the 204 have managed to gain ex First parts, as well as some of ONs 12 reg VWs gaining First seats in places, VW1268/1269 I have noticed this on recently. I believe I saw a flickr photo and one of the 114s VWHs had managed to gain an ex First TP seat at the back downstairs. You'll probably spot spares that have been put into the native 13 reg TEHs going to the 282, that are ex First, once they've spent some time there. * - TE1096 has a ex First bell on the right pole of the back door, and TE1307 also has a First bell towards the front downstairs of the bus.

Not really - the 114 VWHs are 4 years old now - the picture I saw was about a year ago and considering the heavy use the 114 gets its not surprising a seat needed replacement. UX being an ex First garage that had (And still has) ex First buses, meaning lots of ex First parts. At the time of the seat needing repair an ex First seat was probably best they could get.
