What other annoying allocations drive you up the wall? The 359's and 405's current allocation definitely drives me up the wall, with Enviro200's and Enviro400's randomly picked out from different batches currently allocated. Although in the case of the 359 it is now allocated three different types of the first generation of E200's, one standard Enviro200 (SE19), one pre WTA spec Enviro200 (SE122) and one E20D Enviro200 (SEN34), and whilst this is a good thing variety wise none of these buses will be compliant for the next contract, which is why I think that once the 246 goes to Stagecoach, this will hopefully be brought to an end and 747-750 will move to C to continue on the 359 until the end of the contract, and these could be used for another five years. Although they will almost be 10 years old, that didn't stop the 127 being retained with 9 year old E's and a near 10 year old WVL. SE122 was already refurbished for the 276's new contract and upgraded to Euro VI so this and SE121 (currently at MB) could then return to SI. SEN34 was also refurbished for route 39 and moved with the rest of its batch to AL when the Putney Green Bus Corridor came into force in 2017, so this could also return to AL or replace SE18 at Sutton. SE19 could then be withdrawn. The 405's Enviro400's (which are currently E38, E39, E57, E77 and E96-E99) will be withdrawn anyway when it goes to Arriva.

I bet you definitely hate the 104’s then lol, I definitely do. What I actually hate most about the 104, it’s not the actual messy allocation itself, but how blurred they are between the 104 and the school routes. The WVLs that are allocated hardly ever work it and work the school routes instead so I had a really hard time actually identifying what the 104’s allocation actually was, and that annoyed me more than anything. A really messy allocation doesn’t actually bother me that much if there is a justifiable reason for it. For example the 405 you mentioned is as it because they wanted to standardise the fleet at C & MB, and as the contract is nearing its end it probably made sense just to stick anything they had on it as it would only be for the short term. As WSD3 mentioned Metroline’s allocations are ridiculously messy but that’s because they don’t care about individual fleet numbers, just more that a route has the correct allocated type and ignore the rest as that’s more cost effective, which I do understand. But those RATP DLEs I just mentioned, like that’s just plain unnecessary 😂😂 However another route whose allocation really annoys me is the 436. I thought that had WHV1-15 and EH6-13 which adds up perfectly (PVR 21, TVR 23) but weirdly when the 36 was renewed the contract stated 5 of those classic 61-reg EHs even though there’s enough EH MMCs to form its PVR, AND EH6-13 haven’t yet been refurbished for the 436 contract unlike WHV1-15. So what’s going on there I really don’t know and that really annoys me that I can’t properly figure it out 🤬

This is effectively the 104's allocation with 09 reg E127 & E128, 60 reg E130, E136 (Which is still unrefurbished) & E137*, 61 reg E186, E189-193, E207, E212 & E228 and 13 reg E276-280 all allocated to the route and that brings of a total of 19 buses officially allocated/used on the 104.
*Swapped with the 5 for WVL276 which is now allocated to the 5.

It would be logical to make use of the ex 246 E200's on the 359 though once the 246 goes. I don't go to East London often enough and have never used the 104 to notice its allocation , but don't E276-E280 form part of it?

And second of all soon VMH2532-2560 will all be at PA once the 134s electric conversion is done. Its only really the later part thats a mess.
