Bluewater - just for the sheer variety of operators that run services from there. Also the chap in the bus information centre is very helpful/knowledgeable with regard to routes and ticketing. Also a brilliant shopping centre too. Crushes Westfield 😉 I think I know the chap you mean, always very jovial. I'm not a great fan of shopping centres but I agree that Bluewater beats Westfield and yes plenty of bus variety.

Limehouse Burdett Road.
Quite a big stand, tucked out the way. Doesn't really get used very often now since the 395 was withdrawn

Used to like the Terminal 4 bus stand when used by 105 and 140 on upper deck departures
Another favourite is Ham Beaufort Avenue.

Bromley-By-Bow, Edgar Road was a good 'un too. You had to get off a 108/A from the south and transfer to the 208 from the north, unless you managed to find an elusive 86 that had made it to Limehouse, Eastern Hotel, which were about as rare as a 175 to Blackwall Tunnel in my experience.

The stand at Clayhall The Glade is also quite a nice place to sit for 10-15 minutes before heading back towards Barking

In terms of least favourite stands the temporary one at Castelnau would surely be up there. There's nothing there apart from a huge playing field and a couple of houses on the other side. It's also a very quiet road with a very limited amount of people going down it in the evening, add to that the lightening isn't that bright so it's very dark at night given it that eerie feel to it.

Longmead Road bus stand in Tooting Broadway, where part of the bus stand is in the middle of the fork in the road

Tooting, The Mitre (Charlmont Road Stand) Does the G1, 280 & 355 still have it as an official curtailment point? (According to Ian Armstrong's website they do, but some docs are outdated)

(According to Ian Armstrong's website they do, but some docs are outdated) I wonder the same regarding Ambleside Avenue bus stand in Streatham, which could be used for curtailing services like the 50, 133, 159, P13, etc at St Leonard's Church. I can't see the 280 using the Charlmont Road stand (barring road closures) as it would put that curtailed journey short of Tooting Broadway.
