Tooting, The Mitre (Charlmont Road Stand) Does the G1, 280 & 355 still have it as an official curtailment point? (According to Ian Armstrong's website they do, but some docs are outdated) Never seen a 355 turn there - they usually just turn at Tooting Broadway. Same here, although I have a feeling there is a photo of either a 44 or a 355 there online

Bad parking on nearby roads upon leaving the stand.

Stroud Green, Stapleton - I was always intrigued by this one as the stand remained in place for years after road layout changes and parked cars had made it inaccessible to buses.
Another stand that ended up being inaccessible was the Spurling Road stand at East Dulwich.

Baker Street, purely for the TFL canteen, which does a good breakfast. Only if you had enough time to get in and get out! Now I work at chiltern, this is no longer an issue.
Brent Park Tesco, adding they Nando’s and the subway gave more option than the Tesco foods.
Ealing Broadway also had plenty to eat, particularly on the 112. 297 involved a bit of a walk....
Jealous of the drivers who stand at Hammersmith now because there’s a Portuguese Tart (not that tart....) place in the bus station. If you’ve not tried a Pasteis De Nata, you have been missing out on the best treat you could ever taste.
Sudbury, (not Sudbury Town station) when they finally installed the toilet and if you could get there in amongst the 100’s of 18’s on stand, sams chicken used to be across the road, sams chicken was the “Morley’s” of north London. It was cheap and cheerful. 2 burgers and 2 chips for £2!
West Hampstead for Nando’s.
Golders Green for watching National Express drivers shout at each other.
