All of the chargers have been installed but that's about it, there's no power yet. The chargers were installed back in mid to late 2023 can't remember the exact date This is where Mr Khan's repeated desire for all London buses to be zero emission by 2030 falls down. UK Power Networks can't/won't keep up with the upgrades needed to connect the chargers at the garages. Arguably it still should be possible if Hydrogen is used, but currently that seems to be in an even worse state than electrics!

No one else on here seems to be as anti EV as I am but as much as we dislike the fact, it will happen.

The proposed plant to produce hydrogen in Kent from wind power doesn't seem to have progressed. The Health & Safety Executive has put a spanner in the works for the Crawley project because it's close to a school.

And that is why TH is far from being ready UKPN works aside, are works in hand for this summers electrifications?

Baring in mind the 31 moved in last weekend to make space for the 28 at WJ and more electric infrastructure to be installed so maybe something does need to be moved out. Unless HT has so much space HT definitely has more space. It lost the 271, 91, with the 30 and 274 replacing them, and lost the 168 and 306 with the 31 coming in. It should be able to fit the 41 especially with its night service. (234 could go back to PB if needed) Apparently HT have been trying to get the 41 for ages, it certainly stands a decent chance this time The 306 replaced the 168 - 234 also has been moved in. Also route 43 received a PVR cut. Although we do now know that the 41 will stay put until early 2032.

Thought so. Is there a possibility that it could be wired up or is there a problem?

I heard this was to do with electrification Do you know of any works in the pipeline to address the big hole in the ground, or is it a stale mate again? Or will it just sit there like that until 2044?😂

I remember a little while ago I saw an EA on route testing on the 41 - wonder if EA will be the new buses for the route Just because an EA was seen route testing on the 41 doesn't mean that will be the confirmed order for the route. I'm sure we've seen other have other bus types do route testing but have for a different bus type.
