The LTs are RR are getting updated sets for some reason, I'm not too sure why exactly as I don't think there's actually been any additions of routes to the sets but you can tell by a few subtle changes such as the Romford Market destination being in a different font and the 15s blinds for Trafalgar Square being Charing Cross Station,Trafalgar Square instead of plain Trafalgar Square. Could be way off the mark but is there any chance the 115 if not already gets added maybe potentially GAL retaining the 5, 15, 115 & N15 with LTs. If GAL retain the 115 I'd imagine it would be with the existing EHs. There's not much merit to the 115 getting them when it had a full fleet of Hybrids already, the 5 obviously had the WVL allocation that would have been unsuitable regardless.

If the tenders for tranche 888 weren’t running so late I would have said this is a sure sign the route had been retained! I wouldn't say that even if the tenders were running on time. Stagecoach for example started putting the 291 on some of their double decker buses just for them to end up losing the route.

They could potentially just be the standard new RR blind sets. Some LTs already had older full destination blinds. It was pointed out here the LTs are used a lot on school routes without blinds so imagine this is another reason for new blinds.

The 115 has lost some of its MMC EHs and the shortfall made up with older style EHs. If the 115 is retained it could gain a full allocation of 17 regs from the 5 if that finally gets a full LT allocation.

No blinds either, saw another recently being refurbished with lack of blinds then back with new blinds. Are the LTs getting nee blinds if so what’s new. No idea whether these are getting new blinds or not, however it's very common for Go-Ahead LTs to have their blinds removed during refurbishment. Today I saw LT227 and can confirm it's been refurbished. Meanwhile LT156 is a fourth Abellio bus to have received an internal refurb only. Looking at it's history on LVF this appears to have been done in November last year and, as with the other three, it was carrying an advert wrap at that time. This was one of the handful that had a repaint in 2020 however - I believe the others still have their original paint.

I could understand if they were fitting the new blinds only in the ELT and route 5 buses but to fit and pay for new blinds on the route 15 batch of buses seems a waste of Go Ahead money if the LTs for the 15 could be moving to another company. As for the 291 that happens with lots of routes if the garage needs to fit new blinds close to a tender being lost, the route 15 buses were not in need of any updates urgently.

I believe LT219 may also be visible in the latest photos from H&D Trim. A bus with E garage codes is visible, and (unless it's an Edmonton or Ash Grove bus with a letter now missing - and unlikely in the latter case as none of theirs appear to have been done so far) LT219 is the only unrefurbished LT at, or previously allocated to, Enfield off the road for the past few days.
Meanwhile the bus obscuring that one in the same photo is LT406, which has long been distinctive since small green spots (from its previous World Environment Day livery) started showing through the red paint, seemingly damage that occurred when an advert wrap was removed. Will be good to see that bus looking much more presentable!

Buses from Holloway in the LT6xx range are being refurbished at Thorntons alongside Cricklewood's LT5xx.
