I think 210 should be rerouted to terminating Brent Cross West Station after the proposed bus stop ‘School Lane’ instead of terminating at Brent Cross Shopping Centre so that people from Golders Green and Brent Cross Underground Station can have access to Brent Cross West Railway Station.

From Golders Green it would be quicker to use Thameslink from Cricklewood or West Hampstead instead

But then you break all the 210's links to Brent Cross Shopping Centre! From Golders Green people have bus access to other Thameslink stations.

All i was trying to do was allow access from Golders Green to the Brent Cross Town development where Brent Cross West Station is. Thats why i suggested that.

Been told 189 is unlikely to be extended until early next year I’m surprised TFL have refused to extend 189 to Colindale Station especially as no bus goes from Colindale Station to Brent Cross Shopping Centre. 186 does not stop outside Colindale Station or goes through Colindale Avenue. It's probably because of the Northern line. You can get to Hendon Central or Brent Cross and make your way there

Perhaps a better solution would be to divert bus 102 to also serve Brent Cross West as part of its proposed changes. That would keep all the links to Brent Cross which I agree are needed and also link Brent Cross West with Golders Green.

The 210 would be a longer diversion to go via Brent Cross West and make the route 'go round the houses' between Brent Cross tube station and the Shopping Centre. This would be be considerably more inconvenient for more passengers than the number it would benefit.

Could then divert the 210 to approach the shopping centre via the east end of Prince Charles Drive. So eastbound via Haley Road, and westbound via Heathfield Gardens and Cooper Road. Then crossing back over the North Circular at Templehof Avenue, and down to the Thameslink station. But if the intention is just to link the new housing developments to Golders Green, the current 102 stops on Claremont Road are probably close enough. And considering at the areas that already have good links to Hendon or Cricklewood stations, at Brent Cross West I think the priority should be links towards the west (rather than extending more routes from the shopping centre). The 326 I think is proposed to extend there, but I'm not sure how popular that link will be, particularly with the SL10 now directly linking Finchley Central to Hendon Station for Thameslink. Ideally one of the routes going towards Neasden should directly serve the station - would be particularly useful for the housing area around Crest Road. The 16/182/232/245 don't currently have stops close enough to Brent Cross West, at least not in both directions.

Also when this Brent Cross Town development is done, TFL need to make 102 terminate at Brent Cross Shopping Centre in the evenings instead of still terminating at Golders Green.

Fair enough - equally, you could switch it like ADH45258 suggested where it serves the shopping centre and then terminate at Brent Cross West instead. The running time of the 210 wouldn't be an issue at max 55 minutes (still not convinced by the 102 even if it's just a few more minutes as an 102 minutes max running time is an issue with a route serving the A406) and it would be less 'round the houses'

Colindale to Marble Arch is a bit of a stretch The main reason of 189’s extension to Colindale was to provide a direct bus from Kilburn, Cricklewood and Claremont Road to Hendon Central (including Middlesex University) and Colindale Station. There is even no bus directly from Brent Cross Shopping Centre to Colindale Avenue where Colindale Station is. Also, because of the new developments in both Brent Cross Town and Colindale Gardens, 189’s capacity will increase which would do well for the route in the future.
