Changes are planned to go ahead in the 2023/24 financial, if proposals go ahead as planned.

Another consultation that pretty much switches a few routes from one road another. Hardly a massive ULEZ expansion but no doubt it will be presented as one.

Shame really that the 440 doesn’t get a frequency increase.

Someone hasn’t been proof-reading as spotted this error in the 440 section, which the 440 actually doesn’t serve.
‘Current users of route 440 between The Paddocks and Wembley Park Station would benefit from faster bus journeys between these places’

For the locals on here, is this good or not - looks extremely underwhelming but I'm an outsider so interested to hear thoughts?

Shame really that the 440 doesn’t get a frequency increase. It was mentioned in the OOC bus study (Feb 2021) that the 440 would be getting increased in frequency to 6bph, but that won't be happening at this time.

The main good thing you can say is that Hannah Close gets a bus service albeit in a one way system, so it's good for the Industrial workers who don't have cars.

Sometimes the smallest changes can make a difference.

If Brent Council make First way a two-way system, I’d like to see the 92 retain it’s current routing and diverted via First Way towards Brent Park, so Costco can be served, whenever I visit there’s always customers always waiting at the stop outside, or getting off the bus. Would of like to have seen the 440 extended to serve Wembley Park station & perhaps stand by Lycee International, but the extension from Stonebridge to First way has been successful in terms of loading, as you’re aware being a local!

I thought that something major was going happen like the 92 being diverted to somewhere else or the 440 and 206 being merged 😂 it’s just the the 92, 206 and being rerouted.

No, it's very small-scale - it only warrants a consultation as some new roads will be served and a few bus stops removed which is enough to trigger the requirement for one.

Update 20 October 2023
Today we have published our consultation report following this consultation.
We received 242 responses to the consultation and would like to thank everyone that took part. A range of views were expressed in response to consultation.
Generally, the feedback was mixed, with some concerns highlighted related to the need to walk further to catch the bus, reduced access by bus to Brent Civic Centre, and concerns around the suitability of North End Road for route 206.
Following careful consideration of the consultation responses and a further review of what was proposed, we have decided to proceed with the proposed changes to routes 92 and 440 as outlined in the consultation, and to proceed with a revised change to route 206. Bus stops on Engineers Way, Olympic Way and Rutherford Way will therefore continue to be served via Bridge Road and Fulton Road.
Thank you again to everyone that took part.

Probably for the best: the right turn on the 206 from north end Road onto the main road by Wembley park station would have been a challenge. The left turn onto north end Road wouldn’t be any better.
