Hopefully this will have the opposite effect, and Khan gets booted out next year. But for who - the last Tory candidate was dreadful and the next isn’t going to better as all they’d do try to appease Outer London voters. I won’t be voting Khan just like I didn’t in the previous elections but the idea the Tories will any better is laughable. My vote will again go to an independent like last time - best way to show dissatisfaction with the two main parties Boris Johnson had some crazy ideas like the Garden Bridge and Boris Island, although the latter, in terms of airport expansion is a better idea than expanding Heathrow imo, due to the destruction of places like Sipson, but personally I would prefer Gatwick or Stanstead to be expanded, but that's an issue for another thread. However the mayor election will be a two horse vote race so the way I see it is that voting for any other party will still lead to either a Conservative or Labour candidate becoming mayor. Unfortunately I think Khan will still be Mayor next year

One thing I will say about the Ilford to Walthamstow (or any destination in North London) express route is to follow the 123/179 route out of Ilford by serving any relevant stops in Ilford Town Centre then two stops at Gants Hill Station at either side of the roundabout which in this case on the Ilford half of Cranbrook Road and on Woodford Avenue to head along that way with a possibility of having a stop by the Tesco at Charlie Browns Roundabout or somewhere nearby. Stopping at Gants Hill will certainly allow a strategic interchange point for other buses to various destnations such as Barkingside, Newbury Park and Romford and also to complement the existing 123/179 routes.

They're only going to stop once in Ilford surely.

My vote will again go to an independent like last time - best way to show dissatisfaction with the two main parties I’ve said it multiple times but what London needs is a strong independent candidate who doesn’t play party politics, who has no allegiance to anyone but Londoners and who isn’t swayed by their pro or anti government stance. Livingstone for all his faults, we all know which ones, really did have Londoners at the forefront of his policies for his first tenure, not as much for his second. Subsequent mayors have spent far too much time and money on policies which don’t serve everyone. Well said

I’m all for this as long as it doesn’t replace the actual 269 or 119.

It also stops at The Grapes (Hayes End) although this is some distance from the other stops.

This is what I would propose: X492 Bluewater to Orpington Bluewater Shopping Centre Darent Valley Hospital or Greenhithe station Dartford station Crayford Sainsbury's Bexleyheath Clock Tower Bexley Library Foots Cray High Street St Mary Cray station Orpington High Street Orpington station Would run vid the 96 or 492 between Bluewater and Dartford, then the 96 to Bexleyheath, 492 to Foots Cray, 51 to Orpington. I think its a shame that there is no express route to Orpington.
X119 or X353 Orpington to West Croydon Orpington station Locksbottom St Michael's Church Hayes station West Wickham High Street Shirley Library Sandilands Tram stop East Croydon station West Croydon station Would run via the 353 to Hayes, then the 119 to Croydon but would run direct via the A232 between Coney Hall and West Wickham. Also to link Croydon to Orpington (which there currently isn't unlike Croydon to Bromley)
X26 West Croydon to Heathrow Central Would run via the 157 between Waddon and Carshalton the stop at Wallington Green would no longer be served but would instead serve Wallington station (or town centre)
X140 Heathrow Central to Harrow bus station Would no longer stop at Manor Lane/Manse Close, Willow Tree Lane and Tangmere Gardens to speed up journey times
X107 Harrow bus station to New Barnet Harrow bus station Harrow and Wealdstone station Canons Park station Edgware station Apex Corner Stirling Corner Rowley Green Road Barnet Hospital/Queens Road Barnet Church High Barnet station New Barnet station Would run via the 186 to Edgware, the 292 to Stirling Corner, the 107 to New Barnet
X307 High Barnet to Chingford Barnet Church High Barnet station New Barnet station Oakwood Station Enfield Chase station Enfield Town station Great Cambridge Road or Southbury station Ponders End High Street or station Chingford station The overlap with the previous route exists because Barnet Church is an awkward place to have a route stand from the west, as it misses the main objective in Barnet (High Barnet station), and I don't believe that there's a stand at High BarnetWould run via the 307 and 313
X179 or X66 Chingford station to Romford station Chingford station Monkhams Lane Woodford station Manor Road/Roding Lane North (for Woodford Bridge) Fulwell Cross Newbury Park station Romford market Romford station Would run via the 179 to Woodford Green, the 275 to Barkingside, the 169 to Newbury Park, the 66 to Romford. Possibility of adding stops in Little Heath and Marks Gate
Romford to Lakeside Romford Market Romford station Queens Hospital Hornchurch town centre/Billet Lane Hornchurch station Rainham Road Rainham War Memorial or station Lakeside shopping centre Would run via the 365 to Hornchurch, the 652 to Rainham, the 372 to Wennington, Arterial Road, then the 372 again from the M25 to Lakeside

TfL have now planned to rebrand the Superloop, it is what Khan really wanted it to be. Buses would be powered by excrement and passengers gets bonus refunds for passing wind to generate power for the bus.

I don't see the X18 idea coming into fruition, tfl will say to take the tube. Also Harrow Road can be very slow at times and most corridors in northwest London would be too unreliable, can't see an X16 working either. The A40 is also too volatile to have an express bus route operating besides there is the Oxford Tube there The x140 goes along corridors along northwest London and it hasn’t done any bad and if the Oxford tube has not problem along the A40 that why can’t TfL express route.

What about an X13 between Marble Arch and Barnet, The Arkley similar to a suggestion someone made in the forum. The 13 could use with a more efficient service and a Barnet - Golders Green connection. I think get a half usable on the 13 we already have first, before doing anything else to it! Although a route X13 could operate fine if Metroline rather than London Transit get a chance.

In a further development, they will drop the final letter so that it is branded as Superloo, to rhyme with the Bakerloo
