I am planning to go to High Barnet and I quick check bustimes.org and it seem running 30 minutes late as it should be in Barent but end up in Potters Bar! Oh dear!
So no idea whatever bus 84B will able to turn to be on the time?

So no idea whatever bus 84B will able to turn to be on the time? There appear to be two buses on it just now, one in Barnet and one in Potters Bar. Maybe the drivers stay with their bus to cut down on late reliefs?

It looks like first problem for up to 12-30 minutes late as it couldn't keep catching up on the journey! I know it is only the first Monday of the week starting today.

The first day can sometimes not work smoothly especially as both drivers and passengers are getting used to it. Supposedly there was also a traffic accident somewhere causing delays.

Did you see the route today? Not today; I want to go in a couple of weeks when it's hopefully settled down and to see if the correct info is up. And to test various things like which stops at Barnet Church and Barnet High Street it's using, because the timetable says one of the stops is the 34 stand?! Also how the loop round PB works in practice and whether the hail-and-ride parts are actually hail-and-ride. Unfortunately I'm pretty much based at home right now so not going to be a regular user for a while at least.

It's a 22-reg ADL Enviro200 MMC. Central Connect has acquired fourteen of these in the last two years for operating on Hertfordshire and Essex contracted services.

Bus and Train User (Roger French) tried it out on the first day. He commented on the poor timekeeping and the convoluted routeing around Barnet, but was very pleased to see the route so well supported on its inaugural day. Let's hope the teething troubles are sorted out and the route settles down to become a reliable and well-used facility. I suspect the route around Barnet will be simplified soon though. busandtrainuser.com/2023/09/05/potters-bars-bus-to-barnet-is-back/

Anyone at the hospital wanting the station has TfL routes to use. Passengers getting on at the station for PB will have just to cope with the route via the hospital before heading up to PB

At the moment it just says "Barnet Hospital" when it's on its way there, so they would have to make it clear to people coming back from the tube that it's the one to catch to go to Potters Bar.

If you read the link, you will see it explains that the council who are funding the route, have decided its routing.
