A red Switch MetroCity has been registered as YJ24BKD on the 8th. Since it's red, it's highly likely to be for TfL use, I believe it's 8.7m, presumably for the S3 as part of an unannounced order? Not sure what other TfL route would need MetroCitys. No other record of the bus online. It's not Stagecoach for the 379 is it? Apologies, forgot about the 379, most likely for that since the order was for 450** which are 8.7m

3058 is out as QB655 not tracking and is covering for 3040, they seemed to have lost a bit of mileage with a gap on QB655 between roughly 2pm and 7pm

Seemingly the entire of the E7s batch of Kites has entered service all not on the E7.

If I'm being brutally honest, I really don't like those LED blinds.

If I'm being brutally honest, I really don't like those LED blinds. No neither do I, it’s because they are Hanover’s where the default font was externally programmed. GAL and Abellio order them on their new vehicles, and RATP have them on their latest 72-reg batch of vehicles. They’re just not as good. Metroline, Arriva and Stagecoach’s newest ones (as well as the older Abellio and RATP 71/22-reg EVs) have the Mobitec McKenna screens which have far superior displays (but aren’t great reliability wise, you see a lot with faults). TfL should either specify Mobitec McKenna’s on new vehicles or get the Hanover displays programmed properly. It can be done as they did it with the first batch of six 18-reg Stagecoach smart hybrids (which have Hanovers). But when the routes got changed it reverted back to the inferior default font, as it apparently requires specialist programming. However on the plus side, the new shape Electroliner really does look incredible, especially from that angle

The driver changeover point for route 306 is still Hammersmith (Latymer Court) under Transport UK operation.

Saw 8143 on TR2, for some reason has BC codes on the side despite not being one of the buses that moved over for the S3.

However on the plus side, the new shape Electroliner really does look incredible, especially from that angle The six Stagecoach buses had layouts by Doug Rose to match TfL standards. He should have done all new LED displays but Hanover won't pay. McKenna are using Doug's smart blind layouts on their displays. Local tinkering is happening because some think big and bold is best. It isn't.
