Looking at the result, TfL probably deicded because the lowest bid was only a litte cheaper it was wortwhile sticking with GAL who have provided a sufficient service. I would guess the highest bidder was Stagecoach There was only 2 bidders for the 100. There were three: tfl.gov.uk/forms/13796.aspx?btID=1713

The other two could be any out of Arriva (AE), CT Plus (HK), Stagecoach (BW/WH), or at a push Tower Transit (LI), Abellio (WL) or even Metroline (KC)?

How far is LI from Shadwell? 5-6 miles So LI is not that far from Shadwell.

The RV1 and 100 are different routes so can’t be compared to each other. I would say that KC and SI are both equally not that far from the 100.

Are any 56-reg Enviro 400s staying and being upgraded to Euro VI? My guess is no but some are still in service months after the 452 was lost and a check of LVF shows they have been out on the 156, 207, 345, 414, and C3 today - are these buses just in service to cover for others which are being refurbished?
From what I gather the following buses have been withdrawn - note I'm only referring to the 56-reg examples of Enviro 400s: 9402, 9403, 9407, 9409, 9413, 9414, 9415, 9416, 9417, 9418, 9422, 9423, and 9426.

Most of the 56 reg Enviro 400's were upgraded ages ago.
