These new caetano buses remind me of the caetano citysmart buses that NAT operate in wales

Probably an order for the 407 and 270 will be placed together. The 407 could possibly use E40H/MMCs from the 45 for most of its allocation. And there's also the 61reg E40Hs yet unallocated. At least one batch from the latter is now refurbished, 2408 for sure.

I've noticed that TF are using new running number cards which are rather useful as they display the route that the running number is for on the other side. This could come in handy especially when a bus has a faulty number blind as the driver could simply put that in the windscreen. Not sure how long they've been in use for though but I'm hoping they make their way across to BC soon

The Caetano bus is certainly not the prettiest but I'm all for introducing some variety to the London scene rather than the ubiquitous ADL or Wrightbus offerings that are found everywhere. And remember we actually have plenty of Caetano products in London/UK wide in the form of National Express Caetano Levante coaches plenty of those around and seem pretty reliable (and not bad looking IMO!)

Have the 195 and 207 moved to GW yet? I remember last week that Londonbusroutes.net Service Changes page had the move down for yesterday 20th. However, since earlier this week there has been no record of either moves being planned or having taken place. The routes that did move on the 13th still appear in the recent changes list at the end.

Was reading that the reason LT 664-681 moved to London United was because this batch is compatible with the fuelling system used by them. I assume this mean Abellio can cope with more than one fuelling system as this is the ex GAL batch and they managed fine with these and its existing LTs. Hopefully Abellio won't need to make any adjustments to the 27 and 267 batch + Metroline buses off the 24.

Why do different LT batches have different fuelling systems?

Why do different LT batches have different fuelling systems? I imagine it's to do with their relevant operator. Some of these systems seem to be compatible with those of other systems though judging by the fact Abellio seem to have managed with the GAL system on the 68s buses.

Any idea why 8583 hasn’t been refurbished yet? I thought this was part of the H28 allocation so was a little shocked to see it turn up at Feltham Station on route H25 in original condition

Well done Abellio for taking another route off Metroline (Route 482.) Where do you think it will be run from?

Abellio has certainly been very successful the last few years. I find it amazing that all the routes that are going to be at GW, they didn’t operate a few years ago. All won, either directly or indirectly, at the expense of Metroline
